The dappled thing seemed to be their leader as he commanded that they stared the wolves down. FitzDutiful was pleased that his entire pack had turned out, they would not back down from their new home. Tempest took a shaky step back but held her ground and another dog arrived on the scene. How the hell was he supposed to handle this. The last thing FitzDutiful wanted was a fight, he couldn't - wouldn't - risk his pack members.

Taking a step forward he fixed he sights on their leader, Twister. "What do you want?" he asked. If it was just food then surely they could do something about that, if it was their home then that was another matter all together. As the situation seemed to worsen, he briefly wondered if any other pack wolves were in the area and if they would even defend such a new pack or if they would see Silvertip Mountain as cannon fodder to save their own skins.
