Live, little spotlight

If asked about, what wanderlust was and how it affected Osprey, it would be hard to explain. It was a feeling, a pull, a sudden rush of joy and inspiration that could be ignited by various seemingly irrelevant things in her life. A discovery, a succesful hunt, a sunny afternoon, heavy rain, a sight of an old tree. Practically anything. This time it had been a gust of wind that had brought a myriad of foreign scents with it, stopped by and then disappeared as quickly as it had appeared.

But one deep sniff had been all that Osprey had needed to leave the plateau behind her once again and head out in the wilds. She had caught a whiff of flowing water and stones and almost imediately her mind added a picture of a little waterfall, hidden somewhere deep in the woods. The image had been so real that she hadn't hesitated a moment longer. She had to find it. And with only a faint idea of what exactly she was looking for, with 99% chances of failure, she moved quickly through the flatlands.
