Redhawk Caldera chew you up and spit you out

There was a tense little moment where nothing was said, leaving Dove to slip her own mouth shut and stare blankly at the other girl. But then she spoke again, bringing to light something that Dove had become quite aware of. She snorted softly, and the tension in herself eased somewhat. Yeah, tell me about it.

Maybe she had been too hasty. The girl's response had left her to ponder, and clearly she knew what she was talking about. Dove licked her lips, briefly averting her gaze towards the ruined flowers as if preparing to really apologize - but she didn't, and looked to Magpie again instead.
