Jaws' drew his mouth into a hard line at the female's response. She was more difficult than he was hoping when her seasonal scent first caught his attention. In fact, she seemed completely unaware of her own ripeness, of the draw she had to him. Jaws simply shook his head. He fully believed she was wandering because she did not know what to do with her feelings, but he was uninterested in pointing that out.

Before he could remark on her other misplaced comment, the stealthy feline made an appearance. A brief one, enough to let them know they were not very entertaining before leaving them again. Jaws watched the cat momentarily, before turning back to the shewolf. He was, at this point, feeling rather frustrated. "Do you really not understand?" he said sternly, shoving his nose closer to her face, locking his bi-colored eyes onto hers. "I smelled you a long ways off," he flicked his tail. "I thought you were ready."
