His time in the Forest had been primarily spent guarding the borders – he also had not socialized much with his fellow pack mates. Luka was the only wolf he deemed as a friend, while Viinturuth and Chakra were the only others he could respect. Scents had come, and he had even noted scents that had faded, and yet they all remained a mystery to him.

The day would find him loping toward the heart of the territory, his gleaming eyes scanning the grounds for a potential meal. Of course, he came across a different prospect, and rather than the pallid fur of a rabbit, his aqua gaze instead rounded upon the fiery crimsons of a she-wolf.

Caught by surprise at how intricate his thoughts had been to distract him so, the male offered a grunt, halting his pace before he practically collided with her. Blinking, the male canted his creamy muzzle, a small smirk forming upon his lips at Luka’s mention of how the Forest was beginning to see more and more she-wolves.

Recovering, the Frostfur gave a nod of his muzzle then, his tail sweeping the air higher behind him to indicate his rank, unless she decided to challenge it. Companionship was something he longed for, and the opportunity at meeting one of his pack mates was too tempting to pass by. “Hello,” he offered then, interrupting the quiet. “Are you new here?”
he came and stole the wild
a crime so old as the sky and bone
