[size=small]With the strength of Winter slowly dying out and the cold fading slowly into what would become a simple memory it was with renewed vigor that the silvery Epsilon awoke from underneath a tired tree that was probably older than life itself. Even if he had to admit to liking the snow under his paws he was perhaps the most relieved by the upcoming change in seasons. For him, more than the flowers and flourising life bullshit, Spring meant less uncomfortable nights.
Being one of the few wolves --if not the only one-- in the Plateu without a den if any sort, Finn was cosntantly exposed to Mother Nature's mercy.
And as everything in the Ollivander's life, his cold pillow of white had begun to turn monotonous.
Everything in his life had to be honest.
Get up, hunt and patrol, that had pretty much turned into his everyday schedule.
In the shortlived Winter days there was little time to do anything else, all he busied himself with was work.
He had not even found time to chat with Dante, his blood bro, or with any of the other wolves he considered to be his friends.
Osprey, Lasher, Saena and Blue Willow had not crossed his path for a good two weeks.
But that, he decided whilst stopping dead in his tracks, would be remedied today.
Quickly, moving to the nearest cache he plucked a stray bone out of the heap of left overs another wolf had failed to bury. Then with the frail thing dangling in his mouth like a cigarette he trotted to a place he had wanted to visit for a long time but again with the ephimeral sense of time escaping from his grasp and the hours fading too soon, he had found no chance to.
The den of the happy, Mayfair family.
Though it was relatively close to midday and the blue of the sky was hiding under a mantle of soggy grey clouds, the Ollivander held on to the hope than the children would be awake. With quiet steps and his ears turning over his head cautiously, Finn peered into the dark shadows that loomed from the den's entrance.
It was all eerily quiet for now.
"knock knock " he muttered through the dangling bone that hung from his lips before settling his bum onto the floor.
