The hound was fully intending to avoid a fight, dart in while they were distracted, then hightail it once more. However, it seemed the dogs would be given a meal without a fight, and so she came forward, joining her fellows. Her nerves were still on edge for flight should the situation turn sour, but her true priority here was her stomach.

Hopefully her fellow dogs would feel the same and not push the encounter. Why fight for what is freely given? She wasn't above charity in any sense of the word and would gladly snatch up whatever handouts she could. As soon as she could, however, she was heading out of these cursed wilds and back to the nearest concrete jungle. Humans were so much easier to steal from than these wild brothers.
