He flailed his limbs once, twice more before the milk he was consuming began to make his belly feel round and full. For now, instinct pushed his head back and Fox's teat came free with a strange popping sound. His weak neck then gave in to the weight of his skull and Nightjar's head lolled onto the dirt floor, with that same teat nestled right between his flappy little ears. Before he even had time to be consciously aware of his state, the boy drifted off into a turbulent sleep full of twitching and softly whistled whimpers.
