The approach of another was not missed by Leucothoë who only turned when the other came to regard her. For the minute, then, she would not convene with the Sea; she needed privacy. It would be good to know the wolves of her new home, also. Leucothoë rose to all fours and turned, first looking to the wolf who spoke even as the other approached them. She was a pretty woman, with black furs peppering her hair here and there. The most prominent color was a sienna hue that truly caught the eye. While the lackluster Leucothoë thought herself beautiful, she did find it in her to feel envious at the others lovely shade.

Leucothoë offered Wynter a smile. Her tail waved loosely and she appeared receptive to their company. Γεια σας, το όνομά μου είναι Λευκοθέα. She lilted in a tongue she was sure they were familiar in. The other one who approached was silent, even when she sat, not greeting her. This was fine by the Greek woman—who did not know of her affliction—some were the silent sort. The Nereid did not note the lack of her tail, having missed that on her approach. The white one was lovely, too, her eyes a deeper green than her own. She had clearly just been in the water, and Leucothoë wondered if she was cold. She looked back to Wynter, her tail twitching idly, waiting for the one who had spoken to respond.
