She went for his scruff, though she didn't latch onto it and lift him as he had hoped she would. Instead, Bazi told him that he would have to ride her shoulders too. Relonikiv began to shake his head, though when she pointed out that he was big again—her tone clearly indicating that this was something good—he accepted this new status quo with a slow bob of his head.
"Okay," he said, his lips creeping upward into a smile and his tail waving slowly. Relonikiv wasn't sure whether she wanted him to climb onto her now, especially not after what had happened a moment ago. He cocked his head, favoring her with an inquisitive look.
