It had been months since she left Netherwood Marsh, but Lexis kept on running. She could never get far enough away from that place. She found herself tired and weak most of the time, nevertheless she kept going. The little midnight hybrid always found a reason to keep fighting, but her determination to keep going was becoming thin. Lexis had found a family of coyotes to steal food from, and had spotted some other dogs in these woods, however she never talked to anyone.

Now she finds herself along a pack's boarders. With her body slightly shivering, she stepped a little closer to the boarder. The young hybrid's silver eyes seemed to shine in the dark, as she watched for any signs of life. A raven went by, and Lexis jumped at the sudden movement, her body trembling from fear. It didn't help that it was night time, and the only light offered was from the moon.

A gust of wind shifted Lexis's fur, along with a hoot from an owl went up in the air. This place is not good, she told herself and began to back away from the boarders. This place is not good.
