Crescendo saw her rise, and nodded gruffly. "Good. To be weak is to be already dead" He circled her slowly, taking her all in. Slaves were nothing new to him, he just didn't expect to have one again. The blood on her shoulder made him smile. Good. A lot of blood meant a deep cut, which would stay a scar. "Follow me now, girl. If you try to run, I will kill you...or worse."
He led the way to a small hole under a rocky outcrop just within the border. He peered into it, knowing it lead to a small part of Mephala's web, but that the tunnel that linked this cave with the countless others had been caved in. Perfect.
