Ariston wheeled off to the side to avoid tangling himself in the fray of alpha wolves as they fell against an unfortunate victim; he was entirely breathless and thus of little use in wrestling their bounty. Fortunately Peregrine and Hawkeye were both capable veterans of the hunt and did not require him. Wheezing somewhat, but recovering with youthful aptitude, he settled on his haunches and watched the short melee with interest flicking in his eyes.
