I'm not the Sacrifice!

Nesaea had smelt it too. A foreign scent, and not only because it was not born of the sea. The girl's ears were as far forward as they could go as she followed the strange smell, her heart thudding in her chest. She tried to work it out but was at a loss when it came to pinpointing exactly what she was smelling. It was certainly canine but also...not. It wasn't long before the silver girl came upon Leucothoe, having been unknowingly following her scent also. She stood before a sodden figure draped in seaweed, its white fur streaked with all manner of filth. It was wolf-like though, as Nesaea drew closer, she noted there was something off about its features.

The youth came to a stop to the side of her twin, leaving space for the bedraggled thing to stand between them and be accompanied into the territory. With a single word and a knowing glance towards her sister, Nesaea knew of her intentions. The Sea had offered them a gift, as dirty and strange as it was, but a gift nonetheless. The girl smiled warmly towards the creature, waving her tail invitingly.
