I'm not the Sacrifice!

The small creature was a strange thing, a mutant, but would be deemed pure by the Sea. She would make sure of it. Her strides were short, seeing its stubby legs. There was no way the critter could keep up with them at a normal pace, whatever it was. You need rest, she murmurs to the sacrifice, dotingly; her eyes flit to her sister, and she looks to the Sea, Will you find him a meal?

It was best this creature was none-the-wiser to his fate. He seemed comfortable, at least, and she was happy to keep him this way. The silver youth would make sure that he was comfortable to the very last. Leucothoë knew the importance of a sacrifice, and what they meant to The Moon and The Sea.
