Amidst the sound of sea and fowl there came a gentle chuff, soft but easily heard over the waves. Phantom twisted her head to examine the owner of the sound, another wolf, though from her vantage point she could not discern it's sex. No matter. She motioned for him to follow, and headed toward the sand. However much she loved the sea, it was no place to meet new people.

Soon her paws met sand, and she loped up the beach a little way, looking expectantly at the other. The water cascaded from her pelt, and a stray bit of seaweed was stuck to her side, though she made no move to brush it off.
