this is Crete's exit. Feel free to post once more or just archive it hun. :-)
The moment she exposed her teeth to him, Crete's eyes narrowed, lips twitching in restraint as he struggled to pick his battles though the temptation to ignore that sound advice was intoxicating. As far as he was concerned she had no one to blame but herself for his concerns, and he felt that he was entitled to his worries and opinions. Clearly, she did not feel the same way. Her being Peregrine's and probably Atticus' fuck buddy didn't make him immune, Crete understood, and that door swung both ways. Crete wasn't sure what kind of lollipop fantasy world she lived in but he woul have loved to see her slapped awake out of it. She was his alpha - not his god; and likewise he did not have to follow her with a blind faith. A growl, soundless, vibrated up along his vocal chords as he took his own advice and departed. She could live in her happy, sunshine fantasy world all she wanted, he'll she could live in I with his brothers, who followed her with blind adoration because she was in heat. Crete was already deducing that he wouldn't be around much longer to bother and offend her delicateness with his concerns.
