Most southpart of the Moraine, close to the woods

The warm spring air had drawn Valtyr away from the safety of the Plateau to the wilds as he grew from adolescent to young adult. His time spent under Pura's tutelage armed him with some skills necessary for survival as a solitary wanderer - though it was a life half-filled. Though the forest was lush with new growth, hunting was difficult for the reedy teen who was scarcely swift or sure-footed. He managed to get by but was often left pondering why he had even left at all.

The smell of new flowers and rich loam perfumed the afternoon air as the Sveijarn moved Northwards into the Taiga. Originally, he had followed Saena's scent this way - though her trail had soon run cold. Now, he was at a crossroads. Keep heading this way or turn about East towards the valley?

I'm supposed to be studying and finishing my other replies but I couldn't resist this for more than a day. >_>

Although the ridge was her preferred place to be lately, Saena's feet itched to explore the outer neutral grounds. With a farewell to Reek and Wynter atop the ridge, the aspiring Alpha picked her way down the wooded slope and headed east. She had no desire to provoke the rage of the Nova Peak pack, and so she swung a wide arc to the south before making a beeline to the moraine, where she had frolicked with Sen two weeks past.

As she reached the woods at the bottom of the rubble pile, a familiar scent stood like a brick wall in her path. As soon as she reached it, Saena paused, then turned abruptly and began to follow it. She'd meant to say farewell to Valtýr, but time had grown short. She'd been unable to find him or Pura prior to departing and, having been unwilling to use the plateau's resources any longer, she'd left without a word to either of them. It'd left with her a guilty conscience, but Saena had forgotten it until now.

The female followed his trail for a short while, emerged from the trees and spotted him between herself and the moraine. Saena hung back, uncertain. What was he even doing all the way out here, and would he take poorly to her presence? Would her decision be viewed as abandonment? Claws of dread gripped her belly, but she forced herself to lift her chin in that proud stance she'd often worn at the plateau and loped in his direction. As much as she wanted to call to him, for the time being, she merely approached, making no effort to hide the sounds of her feet so that he might receive her however he wished.
