Iluq regarded the dark man, watching as his expression darkened and faded to nothing. The pale one shrugged, at that. Nothing could be done for his taking offense; it hadn't been anything personal, and still, it wasn't. Iluq did not think she had made an enemy that day; they were brothers and sisters in arms, and surely, the new ones would need to suss each other out. An ear twitched and the leaders started to speak. Her eyes slid toward her fellow pale Inuit, regarding him, too, for a moment... but swift to avert her eyes. He was further above her on the hierarchy at present than was at her desired reach.
As everything was explained, Iluq wondered at her own course of action. She enjoyed being independent and alone... but she knew resting her bones with others was not a terrible thing. Used to it as she was, Iluq had already decided her own course of action. Iluq would stay and sleep among the pack. As for staying and seeing why the stones were warm...? She was interested. It would be good to find out why, and that way, she need not fear that the heat be something that would cause their joint deaths. As the alpha male stayed in place, Iluq drifted closer to the dominant pair to show that she was one of those that wished to know why.

There was actually no desire to find the reasoning for the rock's warmth. Not that the heat source was important, it would prove valuable in the winter months, it's just that the spider had little interest in debating the earth's strangeness. It was what it was.
An inky ear flit to regard the remaining gathering of wolves, each face already tucked into memory, before dismissing his presence from the rest. A lower of head was delivered to his alphas, a fiery glance in parting to his beta, before spindly appendages sent him back into the gloomy darkness, heading towards the out reaches of the territory and beyond.

"I doos!" he barked as his father put out the invitation to see what made the stones warm. He bounded over, taking a place beside the Spire alpha's foreleg. He sat down, tail daintily curled about his feet, as he waited proudly to start on this expedition. His eyes roamed around his siblings and packmates, wondering who else might join them.

Iqniq waited until those interested in exploring the underground river had gathered. A few expressed interest. Others departed just as swiftly as they came. It mattered not. Their offer had been given and it was up to them to decide what to do with it. In the mean time?
"This way," he said to those who wished for an adventure. With that, Iqniq turned and guided them towards path that lead to the warm river beneath their new den site.
