@Peridot @Hayde @Lusa @Leo anyone can answer :)

His little nose poked out from the scratchy branches of a leafless bush. He hadn't known that in the cold the trees and bushes would lose their leaves, but he wasn't sure what he thought about it. Baldur was more interested in their new home. He wiggled his way out of the scratchy bush, feeling the fragile branches break as he tumbled forward to land on his chest. "Ommf!" Jumping up, he spun and growled his anger at the bush before squatting on it. Content that he had gotten his revenge, the little pup turned to see what he could find in this new wood. Baldur was somewhat disappointed that the trees didn't seem any different than the ones of Blackfeather. They were tall and still claimed most of their orange and brown leaves. Walking up to the closest tree he placed his front paws on it's side, gazing up into it's branches. Something chattered, and his ears perked forward to pinpoint where the sound had come from. He squinted his amber eyes, intent on finding the source. Another chatter and he found the animal, it was small and brown, and crawled over the large tree branches. His eyes widened as he watched the quick little creature make it's way to the end of a branch and hop to the next tree.

Tail wagging he quickly followed, yipping as he again stood with his paws on the rough tree's trunk. He jumped back on his haunches, lowering himself to the ground before pushing off his hind feet in an attempt to run up the tree. But the branches rose higher as he fell back yelping when he hit solid ground. Again he attempted to get into the tree, but the results remained the same. Determined to follow the animal, he circled while keeping tabs on where it was. The brown creature didn't seem to pay him no mind and made it's way to another tree, chattering away. Baldur followed at a full run, his little paws going as fast as they could. He zoned in on the next tree trunk and sprung up, scratching at the cracking bark. Frustratingly, he fell again. Sitting at the base of the tree he growled at the animal, his motivation to get to it lost in his failure to reach it. He would just have to find something that didn't play in the trees. But he was disappointed all the same.

Was the forest sick? Everywhere Peridot went the trees didn't keep their green colors. Not all of them seemed to be suffering but so many are losing their leaves. She wanted to know if something could be done but it was unlikely. She was a little worried about her surroundings but mother had yet to say that all this was dangerous. Peridot remained cautious and continued to wonder the forest.

Along the way she got sight of her brother running around and jumping. She didn't understand why but she found it funny seeing him act all silly. What was he trying to do? He was looking up but Peridot didn't catch sight of anything. Curious she walked towards her brother. "Uhhm, What are you doing? Trying to climb trees?" She asked. Out of all the time she spent in the wild she never thought of climbing trees. How hard was it to do so? She wondered but wasn't really motivated to try yet.

"I was trying to get the animal running up there!" Baldur growled angrily. "But I can't get it!" He turned from the trees to look at his sister. "What are you doing here?" His mood, fouled by the brown animal, was anything but inviting. He didn't want to talk about the creature anymore, he was done trying to catch it and that was that. Now he was curious as to what his sister was doing out and about. Baldur wondered if she was following him and then questioned, "Where's Leo? Did he come too?" He looked around his white sibling in search of Leo's familiar pelt, but didn't spot his brother anywhere. So it was just Peridot then. That was boring. Brothers were more fun than sisters. Sisters were just annoying. But he assumed he had to play with her now since she was there or she would go crying to mom. In the back of his mind the question of where his parents had been lately popped up, it had been a while since he had seen them. He really wanted to get to spend time with his parents since he hadn't been able to because of his pupnapping.

She looked up again and finally noticed the creature her brother had attempted to catch. She had seen those before, but they continue to stay out of reach. Even if Peridot managed to learn how to climb trees there was still a doubt that she would never catch them. Those animals live in the trees but maybe one day they would come down. If they are smart they would never come down.

"You can't catch that while it's in the trees, unless you turn into one of them. But then I'll have to catch you too when you come down." She said with a grin. For some reason Baldur asked where Chev was. She still couldn't call her brother by a different name, To her it would always be Chevalier and not Leo. "I think he is keeping an eye on the wolf with mother. You never know what bad things the wolf might do if someone isn't around."

Peridot was still in a curious mood and seemed to want to question everything. "Do you need him?"
