Anyone from STM. Headed for specialty Storyteller
Chaska felt it was time to get back into his routine. He hadn't remembered the last story he did being too recent, and wanted to keep in tune with that part of him. Looking up at the sky for inspiration, he found one when he saw a cloud like a rabbit. And close to it, the shape of a predator, lying next to it. It seemed it was no mere coincidence, and that gave him the exact inspiration he needed. He called out for anyone of his packmates, and waited for someone to arrive so he could begin. He seated himself on a low rock, so no matter how many came, he could see all their reactions at once. He liked to see their reactions, whether it was awe or fright. It brought him pride in his stories. The thought brought a smile to his face.

getting moon shadow to meet more wolves. Hope don't mind me popping in.
Moon shadow had been wandering the silver tip territory again in search of the pack members she hadn't met yet. She wanted know everyone and really become one of pack. For long time she barely spoke to anyone but steady and felt as if she was still that loner wandering. So she made it her mission to meet everyone of her pack members. As she was wandering she abruptly stopped as smelled an unfamiliar scent but it was still of silver tip. She then heard a call that seemed for everybody and was overjoyed to get to maybe meet even more of her pack members. As she came towards wolf who seemed to be sitting on low rock she couldn't help but to speak to them.
"Hello there, I don't think we've met. My name is Moon shadow. Whats yours?" she asked trying to keep her cool and not get excited over my meeting yet another pack member. She listened closely to his reply, not wanting to forget anyone's name.

All good. Anyone from STM is fine
Chaska closed his eyes, as if in meditation. But really, he was just thinking up the story. His slow, calm breaths helped to clear his mind. He had enough time to think up the tale until someone came. Opening one eye to look upon them, he found a young she wolf come into view. It wasn't anyone he knew, so he guessed it was a new member he had yet to meet. And in his mind, the best way was through a story. Just by how they reacted.
"Good morning to you. I am Chaska. Nice to meet you, Moon Shadow" he replied with a friendly tone. His posture relaxed a bit so he was laying down, his fore-paws hanging over the edge and almost touching the ground. Then, he popped the question. "Do you like stories, Moon Shadow?" She had to like stories, of some kind.

As she came to the rock the wolf was laying on she came to meet chaska as he had called himself. She was excited as always to meet him and suddenly he asked her an intriguing question."Do I like stories? That's an understatement. I love stories! It always fun to listen and there's always a lesson to be learned from them. I would make stories myself if I had enough creativity in me." She said gleefully wondering why he wanted to know.
Maybe it was something they had in common or maybe he would tell her one. At the thought of hearing a story she immeaditly sat down hoping to hear one. The last story she had heard was from her pup days when her mother and siblings were still around. She didn't think to deep into that though, not wanting to ruin her cheerful mood.

It was not the first time he had met someone so familiar and excited about stories. And he could tell she was eager to hear one, as she was already seated. In fact, he could not recall anyone he offered a story to, not liking stories. At all. That would certainly make his day.
He settled himself, a happy smile across his muzzle. He was just about to make someone's day. First, he cleared his throat, just like every other time. Then, he began:
"Once, a lone pup found itself lost in a forest. He passed many creatures, small and large, predator and prey. The pup searched for a place to stay. All of them turned him away...Except one. A hare, or all creatures, went out of it's way to save the pup, and give it shelter. Yes, it was afraid. But not too afraid, as it was only a mere pup. And the hare believed he could change the wolf. But changing one's nature is not an easy task." He paused to catch his breath, as well as to hear a response so far.

Moon shadow listened intently, loving to know every detail of the story. She was happy to have yet another memory she could replay istead of her darker ones. She would sometimes have brief moments of flashes of bad memories playing again and ruining her cheerful mood. she hoped she could make new memories to help her get through those sad days. She seemed to get out of that train of thought all of sudden and go back to the present.
The story seemed very interesting and as chaska paused to take a breath and see if she had any input she simply nodded her head to keep him going with the story. She loved it already and needed to know every detail of it. She seemed to be acting like she was a pup again, listening to her mothers stories, clinging to every word and tucking them safely into her heart. She was glad to have that feeling again.

There appeared to be no negative feedback, and her nod he took as the go ahead on continuing. So he cleared his throat once more. One day, he was going to clear it too much, and his throat would ache. But not for a time. After readying himself, he went on:
"The hare let the pup out from time to time, to feed on small creatures. It was the way of life, and the hare accepted that. As long as it could care for the pup, and not be eaten himself. The hare treated the pup as one of it's own, even though it had none to call it's own. And on occasion, the pup would return the favor. And some points in time, another creature would come to harm the hare. But with the pup's presence, none dared to come...This was soon to change."
He paused once more. Chaska was reaching the final part of his short tale. The part which would bring it to a close, revealing the morale of the story. One that gave much truth about the world around them.

Moon shadow had never been more interested in a story and knew Chaska must have been a professional at story telling. She liked this story wonder how the story would end."Please go on. Your story telling skills are amazing." moon shadow said in awe. Moon shadow knew that stories had always had this effect on her. As a pup her mother told her many stories and they gave her the same feeling she had now.
She really liked the story. And he enjoyed it when someone did. So he continued, but his tail halted it's swaying. For he was about to reach the end. And with most of his tales, there was a dark, upsetting side to them. He cleared his throat for the last time, then continued on to the end.
"The pup grew until it could hunt by itself. It thanked the hare, and went off, promising to return. And indeed it did. But upon arriving, it felt hungry. It sought out food, scrounging through the underbrush. Until it found something. Some movement in a bush. Without thinking, it's hunger drove it forward. In one swift strike, the creature is dead. But when the wolf looked upon it's prey, it shuddered in horror. For the one it had killed, was the one who had cared for it. The very..same..hare."
He finished there, resting his head on his forepaws. The story had been so joyful at the start. And with the sudden change, how would she react? He could only wait for the reaction before he could be satisfied.

Moon shadow kept listening to story and felt it's end coming closer. The story seemed to became dark and at it's sudden twist of an ending surprised Moon shadow, her eyes widening in shock. The story had been so happy in beginning and at end came this sudden dark twist. She felt she needed to express her feelings, even if she felt self conscious around others.
"You truly are an amazing storyteller, Chaska. Your story seemed innocent enough in the beginning and its twist fit in greatly. I think I know the theme of this story now. I think that it is no matter what you can't change the way of nature." she said in a little nervous tone thinking she may have gotten the answer wrong. She cleared her head of nervous thoughts she was having and just thought if she was wrong she would accept it and not let it bother her.

Chaska smiled to himself. It warmed his heart to hear someone speaking good of his tales. And he smiled because she managed to figure out the morale before he could tell her. It wasn't too common where someone figures out the moral, even less so when they voice it out. Yet, she seemed nervous. Like she thought it was wrong. Even if it had been, he would not judge. He nodded, then leapt off the rock. "You are smart, for you are correct..Then again, it was kind of in plain sight" he chuckled to himself after the reply.
He then went on with a question, his tail swishing behind to show his eagerness for the answer. "What kind of stories have you listened to?" The answer he seeked could be a form of inspiration. To further his boundaries of story-telling. Widen his horizons.

Moon shadow was glad to know she got it right. When he asked what kinda of stories she'd heard before she tried to think back to the stories she'd heard from her mother. She couldn't though and felt bad that she couldn't tell chaska.
"Sorry I can't remember the stories my mother told me. I'm sure you'll be fine though to tell your amazing stories." she said happily. He told an amazing story, one the best she ever heard. She was glad to have met chaska and to have another memory she could look back at and smile.

Chaska nodded, slightly saddened she had nothing. But at the very least, he shared an experience. A story of his. And that was a plus side to this. He even felt a little hot in the cheeks at her compliment and an ear flicked. "Thank you." With a dip of his head, he turned away and left, bidding farewell before doing so.
