Pearl's officially in heat now. Mwahaha.

 

Pearl woke up feeling different. Very different, but good. She could almost hear the sensible parts of her brain clicking off as she slowly slid her eyelids up, revealing pupils that slowly dilated along with the smirk across her features. 

It was back. And it was strong. 

Pulling herself out of the still sleeping pile of wolves, she emerged a completely different wolf in persona, a display of her deepest restraints and desires. No longer was she the 'nice and kind' pushover. Ha. That bitch would be back when this superior version gave back the meatsuit she wore to the prom at the end of the week. 

For now, it was her turn to shine. At last. Her eyes fixed upon the sun before turning back to face the heap of softies the other version called her 'friends'. A laugh began to brew within her, and none of that cutie-pie bullcrap either. This was a deep, maniacal giggle that progressed into sounding far too practiced and much too insane for the previous owner of this body. She knew exactly what she was doing and how she was going to get what she wanted. Letting her scent off, she walked in front of Sebastian, her now-deemed lover, and tickled his nose with her tail. With a sly and calculating smile, she dashed away into the out reaches of the Cove to watch.

The Knight was actually standing guard right at the edge of the Cove. She had gotten up earlier than intended and wasn't in the mood to start the day yet. She did tell herself to do something and after debating it, guarding the Cove while everyone was sleeping won the lottery. She was kind of sitting there snoozing a little since she wasn't moving much at all. But she instantly became alert the movement Pearl dashed by. Kinra nearly jumped back in surprise. In any she was more awake now.

Very soon the Knight did notice a change in Pearl's scent. Every female but Brandy has been in heat now, She started to wonder when it would be Brandy's turn. She would have left Pearl alone but she seemed a little too wild for Kinra to do so. The Knight started to feel a little concerned. She could understand the challenge it was to keep control when in heat but there was a danger if Pearl went out on her own. Kinra decide to throw out a few words to see how Pearl would react. She spoke calmly but focused "Waiting for someone to exercise with you?"

With a passing glance, she noticed Kinra, who orderly responded to her early morning alertness. Letting out an audible huff of annoyance, she over-emphasized turning around with an eye roll. Whatever. This irratation could easily be dealt with. Stalking back over to where the knight was, movements calculated and dramatic, she could easily be mistaken for feral and dangerous, not to mention insane. She approached the girl with a smirk, knowing the damage the gray woman could readily do, but in either ignorance or confidence she coldly proceeded. 

"Mmm, why of course, honeybun stuffed with peppermint. Why else?" she asked, shaking her head, as if Kinra could be so silly. Ordinary wolves were, though. Silly. But were there any other wolves that weren't? That's what she was going to find out about Seb-Seb. Along with some other things she had planned.

It was easy to say that Kinra didn't know this white female anymore. She found her completely unpredictable but more importantly different. Pearl easily fitted the bill of 'not in good condition' and it's going to be like that for a week. The Knight believed that the heated female should never but left alone. She made the decision herself that she'll be the one watching over her. Kinra had a first hand experience with heat and ended up wanting Sebastian. The feeling was mostly gone now but based on that experience she figured that Pearl would target a male in the pack as well. Who? She didn't know but she wasn't going to let the mistakes repeat itself.

Kinra stepped forward closing the distance even more. She spoke clearly "Then here I am, you get to choose the exercise this time." With Pearl's unusual behavior, the Knight was on guard. Nothing was certain, she didn't like that. There is a friend standing before her but she couldn't help but feel like there was some danger in it. The idea of danger was attractive though, Kinra was more likely step in and provoke than to step back and watch.

Valtyr couldn't completely give himself over to the idea of sleeping in a group. The concept was too new — too abnormal — for a wolf so accustomed to solitude. Though he tried, night after night, the young man found himself pressing closer and closer to the walls of their sietch, desperate for a proper slumber beneath the stars. However, the Sveijarn was resolute in his desire for camaraderie and so he returned every evening — as he was asked to.

However, this particular morning caused him rise earlier than usual despite his unrest. A new scent wafted through the cove and tickled his nose. The young male's blood suddenly ran hot as copper eyes watched the last wisps of Pearl's white tail leave the den. A deeply wired instinct spurred the firefoot to his paws and quietly meander after the alabaster waif. Yet one burnt ear turned to the side... he was cautious in his approach for he knew two things. One: he had already been reprimanded by a previous alpha for attempting to court, and two: Sebastian had explicitly asked him to control these impulses. Though normally a calm and passive creature, Valtyr was also a man entering his prime and he could not hide his wanton gaze as he peered around the foyer wall to spy at the conversing women.

Sebastian did not wake that early. He liked the clearing that they all slept in and slept quite comfortably knowing most were all closeby. The alpha actually woke with all the commotion. There were a few up already and normally the male might have laid his head down again and slept for another hour, now there was a scent that slapped him awake. Sebastian was instantly awake and pushed himself to his feet. The male instantly dashed out of the clearing after the scent. It did not take long for Sebastian to see Val clearly interested and a bit further up Pearl and Kinra together. Pearl smelled amazing to Sebastian and seeing that the male had found her more tactile lately it was hard on him not to claim her as his.

Sebastian stepped closer, ready to give Val correcting nip to make him snap out of it, though the scent distracted him too much. Only a growl came from his maw. Sebastian held his tail up high, standing mostly next to Val. The large grey male carried himself with more attitude and dominance. His pale eyes on him for a moment before he stepped forward towards Pearl with quite the determination in his eyes. He wanted Pearl badly.

Pearl smirked at Kinra, lowering her muzzle to the point of looking almost menacing. Almost right on cue, the males began to make their appearance. Gesturing over to the males in the bushes, she wiggled her eyebrows. "How about flirting?" she asked, an evil giggling being emitted. 

She watched Sebastian assert his dominance over Val, then draw closer with an air of superiority and desire. Keeping a low chuckle, she walked towards him like a slowed down version of a stripper walk, hips with extra sashay and a Beyonce-like prowess. Upon reaching him, she slowly drew her head across his chest and along his side, almost as if a cat, tail flicking to and fro as one. Nipping his hip, she turned back and stood parallel to him, winking at Kinra.

It didn't take long for unwanted attention to follow Pearl. Since there was the smell of someone in heat of course it would attract males. First was Valtyr but it seemed like he was keeping his distance, that was fine up until great big Alpha showed up. Kinra watched Sebastian, his behavior was a little off. It was Alpha like but that wasn't Sebastian's usual way. It's already possible to see that Pearl's scent was influencing him. If she remembered correctly he had reasons to hold back. Seeing how he is now made her believe that he really didn't have much of a strong will. The Knight was about to stop him until Pearl decided to complicate matters even more.

After hearing and watching Pearl, Kinra concluded that she was just as brainwashed at Sebastian. She can't say that it was easy to resist but it seem more like Pearl was just embracing it. Seeing how she was with Sebastian angered her much more than it should have. As a Knight she needed to oppose all this, Pearl shouldn't act like his mate just because she was in heat and Sebastian shouldn't let himself get influenced by it.

Kinra remained calm for now. There was still that possibility that Sebastian would resist. Still she can't just stand by and do nothing. She approached them, aiming to act as a wedge to get between them unless there unwanted opposition from Sebastian. She spoke in a loud and clear but serious tone. "That is not an exercise! Pearl you are in heat, being next to Sebastian or any other male would only cause problems!" There was a slight pause before Kinra made her next demand in a strong but firm tone. "Let's go to the lake now."

It wasn't long until Sebastian made himself known with a baritone growl, spoiling Valtyr's fun and shutting him down completely. There was no glimmer of hope in challenging the dark alpha; the Sveijarn possessing neither the physical aptitude or mental fortitude to overcome their leader... and even if he did, was that something the young man wanted? Not at all. For now, he was content to fall in line with the others — the instinct to breed tempered by his instinct to be deferential to the strongest wolf in the pack.

He assumed a submissive posture and moved away from Sebastian, Peal, and Kinra to a shady patch of grass along the treeline. Though Valtyr wasn't interested in coming between Pearl and Sebastian, it seemed their knight was most insistent on keeping them apart. Why? He wondered as he laid down on his belly, keeping his distance from the trio but sticking around to watch in case Pearl decided she cared for the younger, leaner fare.

Sebastian felt a little bit of victory when the other male backed off. Even with him being seduced and dazed by Pearl's heat he did not really want to fight another pack mate over it. Val understood his place and for that Sebastian was grateful enough. The male however could not think much about Val as Pearl trotted towards him. He was instantly in trance with her movements. The male wanted her so badly even though he was pretty sure that he should not do this. He let out a needy whine for her, his nose going through her fur as she walked past him. Her tail basically going past his nose, so tempted to put his muzzle under there. He jumped a bit to the side at the nip on his hip. She was basically guiding him to get behind her and mount her. Sebastian grunted. Much action couldn't unfold because Kinra pushed herself between them with a clear voice.

Sebastian snapped a bit out of it. What in the hell was he doing in the first place?! He shouldn't do this. Even though Pearl might be a good possible mate it might not be a good idea to already have young with her. Sebastian stepped a bit back, yet still so tempted. Sebastian had been sexually frustrated before with all three females in heat and trying to resist them, now he felt that same frustration again. A soft grunt came from him. He knew Pearl wanted young, and maybe that was why she was acting like this, alas, Sebastian knew that he only wanted to father pups with who he knew he would stay together with.

Pearl looked irritably at Kinra, who so rudely interrupted getting exactly what she wanted. These 'problems' could easily be taken care of. All she had was her irrevocable desire and lust, not to mention lack of empathy, and with that combination she could do anything. What would they even do at the lake? It was so incredibly boring there. It was far more interesting here with the easily manipulated males that had a lot to offer. 

She looked at the silver female innocently, blinking like an adorable little virgin that she somehow still was. Even still, there was something off with her imitations of emotion. She sneered and took a stride away from the gray festival, turning around with all the sass and confidence of a model. A feral, nearly psycho model. She started to chuckle, which gradually turned into a low growl along with the raising of her hackles. Oh, this was going to be fun. Pearl was fixated on her goal, and Kinra was only another obstacle.

Kinra managed to split them, good. It seems Sebastian was a bit aware of the problem and was trying to resist those urges. The Knight turned and faced Pearl. This white female was doing the exact opposite of what the Alpha was doing. Kinra proposal was tossed out completely, that just proved that Pearl was simply being controlled by her own desires. It was disappointing to think the white female was an equal, she obviously lacked willpower. Just the more reason to not let her go freely while she was in heat.

It was slightly surprising the Pearl was willing to brawl, of course it was easy to see why. Kinra knew the feeling, 'so close yet so far', The only one in the way of fulfilling her desires was the Knight. Kinra had no intentions of backing out now. Her tail rose up while she gazed confidently at her likely opponent. Kinra grinned and even wanted to provoke Pearl but she did need to focus on acting like a Knight. Professionally it was better to try to avoid a fight but Kinra only half tried. She spoke firmly with confidence "I will stop you."

Valtyr reclined to watch the scene unfold, burnt orange paws crossed in amusement. He was in no hurry to become apart of the squabble. Kinra's pig-headedness, Pearl's indecency, and Sebastian's obvious aphrodisia made for a sitcom-worthy material. Was this going to turn into a... love triangle? Did Kinra secretly have the hots for one of the other wolves? Valtyr watched with copper gaze transfixed on the trio... but most of his attention was locked onto Pearl's flirtatious prance.

Sebastian knew that Pearl told a few days prior she would be quite different when she was in heat. This had been only more proof to her words. Sebastian dug his paws a bit into the ground. He wanted her so badly, but he also did not want to create any more drama. "Pearl," he spoke, taking all of his own inner strength. "Go with Kinra. That is a command," he stated with his chest more puffed out. The male had to stay strong and he could not relapse after denying the other females too, all the other females except Brandy.

Sebastian turned to Val. He might be able to distract him. He could use someone to mark the borders with. "Let's go, Val. The ladies will need some privacy," he spoke. "We shall mark the borders so others won't dare to cross our territory. How about that," he suggested. Seeing that the younger male had been laying down and had not attempted to make any action towards Pearl Sebastian was getting instantly more respect for the younger one.

Pearl shook her head knowingly at Kinra's confidence, a mere nuisance that could easily be cast aside with what she was capable of. That soft part of her would never use her strength to harm another wolf, but that was no more for the time being. She approached Kinra with deliberately placed steps, stalking towards her with a gruesomely distorted grin, looking utterly terrifying. 

It wasn't until Sebastian, her love, called her off and ordered her to actually go some where with this inferior meat shield that she put a stop to her advances. It was a lusting drive to get to Sebastian, whom in this state of her mind was considered her mate, but alas, he was her superior and seemed to be determined to follow through with his precious morals. Ugh. But she knew when she was out of luck, so she unwillingly resigned and huffed disappointment. She shot a glare to the Knight and a flirty wink to her only love, whipping her tail about as she trotted away to the lake.

Kinra was ready for anything and wasn't at all intimidated by Pearl's dangerous looks. She stood there steadily and waited for the moment to strike back. However that moment never came. Sebastian actually supported the Knight by ordering Pearl to go to the lake. That moment of support really made Kinra happy inside but didn't dare show it. Her job was still far from over. Pearl was in heat and it would be like that for at least a week and this was basically the first day. There was no telling what kind of mess Pearl would get into if the Knight wasn't around.

When the heated female started heading to the lake Kinra turned towards Sebastian and bowed her head down a little. "I'll do my best to keep her out of trouble." She said in a clear by calm down before immediately going after Pearl. The day at the lake sure didn't feel like it was going to be fun. Kinra had to find a way to get the white female's mind into the clear but that risk being hard to do when she was basically embracing the effects. Something was telling the Knight that this week was going to be a long week.
