Is this a good place, @Asherah?
A distant memory had drawn the red mother from her seaside home. There had been must upset in recent days, but the more time that passed, the better off their pack seemed to be. Qilaq had returned, there was a lull in the weather, and food was plentiful. Doe couldn't ask for anything more, but there was something she wanted... something that had been nagging at the back of her mind for many moons, now.Looking around as if worried she was being followed, Doe crept into the earthen den she'd once claimed as her own.

Imma jump in.... let me know if thats not cool hehe
Her head hung low, she had been a lone for a few days now. Or maybe it had been a few weeks. She honestly couldn't remember, time passed slow at times and other times it seemed like hours passed in the blink of an eye. The deposed Queen often found that she wasn't in her right mind, her deep sadness and shame flowed through her as the wind through the trees. Shalon had watched from the shadows as Eden and Streiter had lead everyone from her former territory. To ashamed to follow them, firmly believing that the Duke and Duchess would be better leaders than herself. She had lost the only real home she had ever known, and the wolves that had come to be her family. And now? Now she was once again alone. She honestly wasn't sure if she could stand the ache she was now vividly remembering. With a sigh she finally lifted her head.
The sea air met her nose, and the ocean oasis greeted her silver orbs. A small gasp left her lips. She had never seen such a beautiful sight. And for the first time since the fall of the Court, Shalon smiled. The cold that had penetrated her pelt from the snowstorm only days ago rolled off of her. Not because the temperature itself had increased although it seemed that this weather was finally lifting. No Shalon filled with glee, which warmed her heart.
As she gazed out at the water she finally realized that she was not alone in the small pasture over looking the water. A small red tinted female stood not to far in the distance. Shalon was weary not sure what to do. The first wolf she had encountered since Reek and his pack had run hers out of the Glade. Her wounded shoulder spiked slightly as she thought of the tussle with the invaders. It wasn't serious, at least she hoped so. Shalon had no head for healthcare. Approaching the woman slowly, neutral in her posture, she no longer had the effort to feign dominance. To look at her, Shalon would look like a sorry creature. Her glee at seeing the ocean replaced with her memories of the Glade.
