The sea spit up an ivory form against the pale sands. He coughed up the harsh salt water, icy eyes wide enough for whites to appear. It burned. Trying to breathe air pushed water into his lungs but coughing anymore seemed almost impossible. His spine arched as his head seemed to shove near the earth. A heave escaping him - shoving out the last of the water.
Oh god, he could breathe again.
Jaws parted as he wildly sucked in the warm sea air. It stung but there was no water further choking him. His drenched form quickly gave a shake, sending droplets everywhere. He wanted to rid himself of the damn liquid that had almost killed him.
The Geer male blinked as he looked around the sunset lit place. He had no idea where the water had spit him out at. With lungs no longer being flooded, he realized the new issue at hand. He was completely and utterly lost.

Streaked pink and crimson from a very recent kill, Bethlehem made her way impetuously down the coast. She was eager to parade herself around; her ego dictating that she showboat before needing to cater to the scent of death that clung to her like scented nettles. She thought that any respectable wolf, any wolf worthy of the queen's companionship, would find her to be a sight bold and impressive. Any other points of view weren't tolerated. The she-wolf, feeling sated and absent anxiety, strutted neatly along the shoreline so that she might use the superior sunset/oceanside view as a background to her staggering worth.
She was disappointed to find a ragged half-breed in her path. He was ghost-slim, wet, and a lack of sure-footing made him utterly unappetizing to the Ironfrost. She snarled, snapping her teeth at him in an effort to chase him out of her way.

He would have thought her to be a rather good looker had she not been snapping and snarling, cloaked in crimson. Kuldip was taken back at first, taking one step back to regain his footing and focus. Blue eyes quickly narrowed. Like hell he was gonna let the sea and this stranger beat him up.
In a warning, he snapped his jaws towards the stranger with loud sharp clicks. His tail whipped behind him before settling in a straight out position that aligned with his spine. Kuldip was ready if the wench would not back off.

At first the mutt stumbled back, shocked by her savage approach to things in life she disapproved of. His reaction pleased Bethlehem. She started to count this as another victory-notch on her belt. But the ocean-drenched halfbreed was not to be cowed by the chaotic she-wolf's manners. He snapped back, unable to take the affront, and the titanic Bethlehem whirled on him with a wild fury.
It was short-lived. To be honest, she was rather impressed with his ability to stand up to her. He looked thrashed, and it wouldn't be a fair fight if she engaged the exhausted wolfdog in his current state. The wretched she-wolf gave a derisive snort.

You think you could take me, all by yourself?she teased, the tone of her voice surprisingly warm and mischievously inviting. A trick, to goad the icy, washed-out male into making a mistake.

cameo for now unless acknowledged
It was not the pair of snarling savages that drew her attention to the shore but rather the tension that seemed to lurk in the air from a mile off. Thick with desperation it was, nearly enough to cause the kru to stop in her tracks. But curiosity had always been one of her downfalls and Rose did not so easily abandon things of interest.
When she finally arrived at the scene it appeared less intriguing than what she had imagined. Her gaze swept over each of the contestants, one looking like a drowned rat and the other a beast from your nightmares. The russet kru slunk forward just enough to make her presence known to the two before dropping to her haunches, making it as clear as day that she was here for the show and had no intention of interrupting their vicious dance.
i'm the architect of my own destruction
