Steady foot falls filled the ears of the wanderer, the snap of twigs and crunch of grass below his paws had been his only companion for a long time, not that he minded.
The moment he entered the Teekon wilds he had sized up all he could see and went toward the mountains, the first mountain he came to was abandoned from that vantage point he had found another place to rest his paws. With a crooked smile upon his maw he headed in that direction knowing whom he'd find there; his scent crisscrossed these wilds.
Heavy paws took him far across the land, he had almost been fooled by his eyes, from the top of silver tip mountain the sunspire mountains seemed closer, yet they still loomed over head and seemed no closer by night fall. He'd have to make camp and continue in the morning.
As the first light inked across the sky he climbed out of the crudely dug den and gave his body a good shake loosing dirt and debris, they only time his path erred from the destination in mind was to track a rabbit into a thicket and mercifully end it's life. The lifeless carcass hung from his jaws until noon when the sun was the hottest. Now at the foot of the mountain the brute took rest below a tree and ate at his leisure waiting quietly until the earth began it's afternoon cool, only then did the traveler make his way up the mountain to halt outside the boarder and await detection when he loosed a low howl 'I'm here' it said

Getting in on this for warden trades yo.
Patrolling borders was about all Fang managed to do these days. It gave him the unique opportunity to avoid Ferdie for the most part, and make himself useful. It was becoming evidently clear he needed to keep himself distant from the leader.
When the howl called out, a simple "i'm here" message, The halfbreed made his approach to the source. It was becoming a common thing, Approach, size up, wait for Ferdie to arrive, leave. Thus far only once did it not go according to plan. His paws fell firmly as he arrived at the border, golden eyes opened in mild surprise at this wolf that stood on the outskirts. The resemblance was uncanny, as if someone had plucked the alpha from his resting spot, dropped him on the outskirts of the pack. If it wasn't for the strange scent that lingered, Fang would have easily mistaken him for the vain alpha. The fuck is this? was about the most eloquent responce he had to the bizarre doppelgänger that stood on the edge of the pack

Heya! And i thought he had enough Drama IC thanks to me. Now I feel like Fang isnt trying hard enough. :l
He slowed his trot, stopping short of the border, the small half-breed's hackles began to rise at the less than respectful response from the male. Golden eyes narrowed at the brute as a second howl went up, ears forward as his tail rose over his back. Fang wasn't a creature for posturing but this. ..thing, resembled Ferdie enough to irritate the male. His dismissive reaction did nothing to help the scenario.
Black lips tugged into a small snarl, pearly teeth showing as a low growl worked its way from his chest. The following words issuing almost like a hiss. Don't ignore me. Explain yourself. The fact this male was larger held little regard for the wolf-dog, he had other pack members nearby, and looking like their alpha or not, he was playing a dangerous game on the border.

;A; *Casually squeezes myself in here.* If you'd rather not have Kipling as well, just PM me and I'll delete the post.
What was up with all the noise? At first Kipling had been content to ignore the howl, allow another wolf to deal with it. It might've been her business to investigate, but her business was also to fill the cache and instead she'd been picking at it. Grumbling as she deposited the leftover beaver leg back into the stash, and made her way over to the confrontation. Was she at all surprised to see Fang growling at a vagabond outside of their borders? The answer was no.
Having been on the other side of the fence once, not too long ago, Kipling headed down with the intent to defused the situation. Naturally she blamed Fang, convinced he was either overreacting to something or another.
When she jogged into closer proximity though, for a moment her heart fluttered into her throat mistaking the loner for their alpha before her nose told her otherwise. Good thing, because if that particular fight happened to go down, she certainly didn't want to be around for it, already catching on that Fang didn't exactly hold their leader in high regard.
So it was casually she slipped in beside Fang who was a haughtily displaying his namesake, while she remained collected, not entirely sure what had went down. Can we help you?
She inquired, a skeptical brow raised in the other wolf's direction. She may have not been her packmate's biggest fan, but she was obligated to back him up, and so she would.

Jace heard the howl and then the second howl and in his irritation he stalked and half limped towards the sound. His large black body glided easily across the ground, the limp still there, though as time progressed the pain lessened. It still hurt like a curse word in the morning and night, though. He walked towards the two of his pack mates, to only freeze and stare. What in the gods? he started to speak and then shut his mouth as he studied the wolf that looked like Ferdie, he looked him over from all angles trying to figure it out, and it bothered him a little bit to say the least.
He did, however continue forward blue eyes staring at him. You called for someone of worth, while disrespecting those wolves that did come to you, so what you say better have some merit on why you have called a leader not once but twice. When our members are perfectly capable of helping you until one of us gets here. So what is it that you need? That is so important you had to be impatient? He tilted his head then and stood head and shoulders taller above all of them except maybe the male in front of him.
I am more easily attainable for threads now. But please do bear in mind that I have three children under the age of five at home. And they do take up a lot of my time.

Light quick tell-tale foot falls kissed the earth, the scent brought toward him bespoke of a female. A smile twitched in the corner of his lips as the female slipped from the borders of the pack and toward him, her pause gave him great satisfaction on more then one level.
Shortly though his interest in her edged toward disdain as the female did not correct the hybrid vermin but rather casually submitted to it. Her voice was honey compared to the crass tone and vile words of the fool that took up space beside her. He shook his head slowly as she asked her question they had nothing they could offer him.
His inclined his head to the female as respectfully as possible. His eyes narrowed as he looked to the trees beyond the pair, appearing as though he was ignoring their presence while ever being watchful of an attack. Slow irregular foot falls headed up the arrival of an injured blackened brute.
Drizzet watched this wolf and his posture, finally someone worthy of attention. He yawned, licked his lips and lowered his head respectfully. His voice was deep, rough and unused. It held nothing of note if one was looking to pick up an accent. His words were clear and concise each syllable planned I did not disrespect any wolf He couldn't help the mischievous smile that took root upon his lips for a moment before continued words allowed him to reign in composure.
As entertaining as they are, they could not offer me what you can. I seek to join your pack.

The arrival of the others did nothing to improve his disposition toward the doppelgänger. It wasn't a matter of disrespect, he had dealt with random bigoted creatures throughout his life and had long since given up caring about petty insults.
It's was the interlopers approach, me the fact this was most definitely a clone of their alpha. He didn't need to respect this one openly.
Seek to join our pack? You can seek to fuck off back to where you came from. His words managing to issue out around a low growl. Of course he would probably be dealing with some backlash from Jace or Kipling for his words, but for now it didn't matter.

The stranger didn’t offer her any real reply and though she acknowledged his inclination with sharp critical eyes she simply gave a long exasperated sigh. What could she do really? Try to lunge and shake him for blowing her off? As he was clearly doing. While Kipling felt he should answer to someone for being so close to the pack borders, apparently this loner thought he could save his breath for whoever he wanted, as if she wasn’t worthy of it.
As badly as Kipling wanted to call him out, she wouldn’t embarrass herself and go to Fang’s level instead glaring impatiently at the scenery beyond the wolf as they ignored each other. It was a miracle Jace showed up as soon as he did because she didn’t know much longer she could be bothered to wait under the wolf’s silence. Appropriately she adjusted herself for Jace reign as his rank allowed the group, though her eyes turned once more on the stranger.
Entertaining? Her brow furrowed and before she could speak Fang spoke what she thought for her. Still, she snapped, Calm down.
in a low voice. It wasn’t his decision to make, if Jace wanted to hear him out then he would be heard and though the Lambda didn’t agree with it she’d at least be smart enough to walk the other way if she couldn’t control her mouth.

Jace stared at him disliking his haughty attitude and his clear thirst for power. If the male treated those that met him at the bordres this way, how would he treat any below him if he became a higher ranking than some. You wish to come to this border, and disrespect my wolves, my family and yet you want something from me. So tell me sir what is it that you could offer me, besides the blatant disrespect you have already shown to those lower than beta or alpha. Because remember if I were to accept you, you would be lower than them, and I would not stop them if you disrespected them as a matter of fact I wouldn't now. So what can you offer us besides that? his glare was there and his words edged with ice, he hated disrespect and if this wolf couldn't even respect those that met him at the borders why would he respect those in the pack hierarchy.
