She was glad she had found her way back to reuniting herself with her family. She wasn't sure what luck had graced her, but Lei Lei wanted to believe it was fate being kind to her, at least just for this moment. She found herself alone this time, her thought sclouding her mind slightly as she walked along the coast, looking off to the motherland before her eyes. She wondered when she would try to go back and explore more ebfore returning back to her family's sliver of land.
She sat herself onto the sandy shore, far enough where she wasn't touched by the tide but close enough to feel the cool breeze entice her to come take a swim. She denied the thought, toying with the grains of salt and sand beneath her paws before uncovering a small scallop shell. It was perfectly in tact, though the other half of it was missing. She looked down at the pink color of the shell and gently began to flip it around with her paw like a toy.
