omg I didn't have enough time to get new threads!!!
I seriously want Damien to meet @Arthur if you don't mind, Mar! :D

They. Had. A BEAR.

The one thing, besides meeting Kove again, that had made Damien the most excited about coming to Bearclaw Valley was meeting their bear. And he hadn't. It was almost time to go back home, and Damien hadn't even seen the damn thing once. Never. Cero.

How boring was this place?

The only thing he could think of to see if he could find the beast at least once was traveling to the center of the valley, right in Bearclaw Island, in hope that its name wasn't only because it had the shape of a bear's claw. Probably not his best idea.

He crossed the forest all the way to the river, and there he followed it downstream until he found the island. It was easy for a while, the outer ends of the river were shallow, stone-y shores that didn't put much resistance, but then it started to get deeper. And deeper. Until the pup was swiming his way through the rushing water. Shit. He didn't know how to swim.

His oversized paws paddled hard as he tried to keep his head above the water. It was hard, but it wasn't impossible. Not for Damien. And he made it safely enough to the other side. Soaked but breathing. He shook his pelt when his last paw was out of the water, and with his spike-like hair, still pretty wet, he ventured inside the Bearclaw Island in search for... Well. A bear.

Arthur usually slept in the woods. He had multiple napping spots that he rotated. The bear wasn't often on the island because he had to go through the water and at times the water was too wild. It was too much effort to even go there, it wasn't like there were any good berries though there was a great napping spot. These past days had been rather hot so the black bear wanted to take the swim through the water. Currently he was sitting in the water, snacking on some water plants. The bear liked to sit in the water by the shore since it was cooling his feet and butt while he could eat some plants and nuts that drifted ashore.

The dark bear yawned tiredly, with that yawn came a bit of a roar from his mouth. Even the tiny one sounded mighty. Arthur then hummed softly as he chewed on another plant. He wasn't paying attention to the young wolf that was close to him. Arthur was busying eating and tanning after all.

Yay! Thanks Mar :D

A growl caught Damien's attention as soon as he was out of the water. This growl wasn't common, it was not a wolf. It was so deep and so guttural that it could only mean one thing.

The bear.

Damien sprinted towards the sound, being careful not to run right into it causing his head to fly off in seconds, but he didn't know what to expect from the bear anyways. And when he saw it he was amazed for a second. Then he realized it wasn't such a big deal.

The dark pup approached, the wind in his favor, until he was close enough to see the large claws sticking out of his enormour paws. That was impressive.

"Are you Arthur?" Damien asked loudly from a distant copse of trees that hid him halfway.

Welcome <3 love RP'ing with you :D

Arthur was still happily snacking when someone called for him. He looked up and then turned around. At first he didn't even see the dark wolf young. But then his dark eyes locked on the other. His eyes squinted but then he turned around back to his food. "Yes. I am Arthur Elroy Scott Linwood," he spoke on his royal tone. "What is it that you want?," he asked. He had met the other wolf pup, this one was probably from the same pack, because Arthur could scent the same scent.

He wondered what the pup wanted from him. He was just having his lunch and he disliked that being interrupted. After this he would really need to nap, how dare this pup! He wanted to have a relaxing day and now he was bothering him.

The beast looked frightening, but Damien didn't fear. Scarlett always spoke of the bear as some kind of fluffy little teddy, and Damien couldn't help seeing it in Arthur. Hius way of speaking, so polite and elegant, and even his long fancy ass name. It was as if one of Scarlett's pups had named him after its plush.

"I want to fight you." he said right after the bear asked. That was his only purpose, that was one of the reasons he'd wanted to come to this place since the beginning, and he wasn't going to leave without having at least one fair spar with the bear. He was a warrior, and that would go pretty nicely in his resume.

Damien didn't move just yet, remembering all his training. In a confrontation it was best to observe the enemy before attacking, that way you would have the advantage of knowing how they did things. Dark Brothers were always One step forward.

Arthur looked at the pup before him after he very nicely introduced himself. This black wolf clearly had no manners because he didn't even get a name back. His ears flickered in annoyance especially what the pup requested. Arthur was not a fighter, he was a lover. The black bear looked non amused at his request. "I won't fight you," he pointed out with his tone almost snobbish. His snout then raised and he got up on all four. He could have made himself bigger by standing on his hind paws but he wasn't going to provoke a fight.

The bear then raised his chin, he would only fight to protect himself and then he would make sure that his heavy paw would collide with the wolf's muzzle or size of his head, so he would definitely feel that later on.

THANKYOU!!!!!! :D

But waiting for your oponent to make the first move wasn't always fun. Not this time at least. He knew that the snob of a bear wouldn't engage on a fight if he wasn't provoked. Scarlett promised Damien he could fight the bear, and fight him he would.

"So you won't, eh?" he said, grinning. Probably this had been the day in which he had made the most bad decisions in his life, but it often brought a lot of fun along. He snarled and took a couple steps closer. The bear was huge, his paws bigger than Damien's head. Definitely not a good idea.

In an almost cat-like way, the young dark soul sprinted towards the bear and jumped on it's back, grabbing hold of its thick black hair with his claws. Hell this would be fun. Dangerous as f*ck, but fun anyways.

Welcome!! :D Arthur isn't going to be nice haha

Arthur was almost into the water, going back to the open fields when the wolf jumped him. He let out a loud growl that echoed through the valley. Arthur instantly turned and opened his wide jaws and turned them at the wolf pup, growling louder and louder that was almost deafening. Arthur slammed his paws at the wolf's head not very keen that he had disturbed him. Arthur now wanted to injure the wolf, badly.

I swear Damien will be the cause of his own death eventually...

And then shit went completely wrong. Or did it?

Basically, Damien was deafened by an intense growl, and then slammed by the bear's gigantic paw off of his broad, and actually quite comfy back. But he had asked for it, hadn't he?

Damien's landing was a bit rough, although luckily, some of the impact had been cushioned by the rives's water. He landed on his left side, bruising his shoulder and paw. But he got up quickly and evaded the next attack. He would have died if he hadn't.

What was supposed to be a battle, turned out to be something completely different from what the teen expected. The bear, who had turned into a raging fur-ball of muscle, was clearly trying to injure Damien, who had realized the attacking had not been the best decision. He would have to dodge the bear now. But that was practice too.

Arthur kind of wants him dead now... XD

Arthur was pretty pissed and if you pissed this guy off he was not really a fun guy to be around. The heavy black bear, who was pretty huge for a black bear was pretty keen on having this wolf out of his valley. He was pleased to see that his hit was a success and as soon as he was able he attacked again, moving so that the wolf had the only option as to go more into the water.

Arthur wanted him to drown or make him bleed with his claw marks. How could a pup be so rude he would feel it. His paws kept slashing with no pause between them. If one missed the other would soon follow and try to hit the wolf body. Art wasn't holding back.

Paw after paw, Damien dodged the Bear's constant attacks. He would not falter against his biggest opponent, he was determined. This fight would be a huge experience for him, even if he didn't get to ht the bear once, so he was not fearful or ashamed to walk into the water as the bear pushed forward. Maybe if he managed to tire the beast he would have a chance to blow one hit. Damien had impressive endurance.

"I thought you said you wouldn't fight me..." Damien barked a little under his breath and then jumped once again away from yet another blow of the bear's paws. "You're an easy target!" he barked laughing, probably to piss off the bear even further, but not even he knew what he was doing since he decided to look for a bear. That's insane!

I don't think it is realistic a wolf youngster can dodge all constant attacks, Anthony :P.

Arthur didn't like that the wolf pup was evading all his attacks, most wolves would run from an attacking bear and this one was just contently doing him. Arthur growled loudly and suddenly charged forward, he was pretty pissed, this was not fighting for Arthur this was his want to kill this pup. The bear wouldn't stop until this youngster was out of his valley, and quick. He would let Miss Scarlett know how rude this pup was and that he was not sorry.

As the male charged forward at the pup he was very keen to barrel him down and bite down in his neck. He bared his teeth as he ran, ready to chomp down on any flesh that got close to him.

I know... But it woudn't be realistic if Damien got killed by Arthur and then survived and went back to BFW unscratched either...
That's what I'm trying to stick to with this...
Just wanted a couple more posts into this before fleeing... And here it goes ;)

Things were out of control. Damien would not get a chance to hit the bear once, not if he wanted to survive. Scarlett had sai that the bear would fight him, but Damien never thought that she meant Arthur would try to kill him if he asked for a spar. This was not fun at all anymore.

Damien did not want his face scratched by a bear's paw. Not yet at least. So there was only one thing he could do to avoid it, and it was running his ass off. That was not a very Damien-like thing to do, but dying was even less so.

The youngster fled, splashing the river's water all over and getting soaked as he, once again, crossed the cold river. He looked back at the bear, who had charged forward with the absolutely clear intention of killing him. Damien laughed in a tone that was between an amused laugh and a panicked shriek and sprinted away from the beast. Once he was a little bit bigger, which he was sure would take no time, he would probably come back for a rematch. But for now he could not afford being hurt anymore.

I was just kinda teasing you :P All good. But some injury would be okay like mild. It sucks that this thread is so old!

Arthur let out a loud snort and watched the pup flee, he knew too that he would never keep up with those long legs. It seems that Arthur wasn't the only one who hated the BFW children, maybe a talk with Raziel would cheer the bear up but now his mood was spoiled by the horrible wolf teenager. In a good scenario Arthur would have killed him for what he did but this wasn't that scenario and Arthur was pretty proud that he was still so ferocious.

It made him think to maybe try for a female this year, to see how lucky he was with that and fighting off other males. The bear tried to calm himself down, sitting at the edge of the water feeling terribly drained and tried. He would need to at least nap for a week now.
