She stood atop a brazen rock, surveying the great plains she had ventured to. The colours of summer were slowly fading and replaced by the aging brown shade of decay. However, the land was still luminous, it's vast plains and luscious valleys were admirable compared to her usual sight of barren trees and shadow forests. But she still liked Blackfeather better. The dark vibe she got from her somber haven was a force to be reckoned with, in her opinion. She was simply here to find new game, deer and rabbit were becoming distasteful after days for their taste in her mouth, not that she was picky. A little change would be good.

Her nose reached the soft breeze, carrying the scent of packs nearby. She would make sure to steer well away from those types of wolves, and their pitiful packs. Even though she new that the other packs could be a match for hers, she would never admit it. Even their land said something about them. Dandelions and Liatris were not the most intimidating decorations. Nothing light grew in Blackfeather, and that was good.
Despite her efforts, she couldn't find much to satisfy herself, instead deciding to simply fill herself with a deer carcass. The sunken animal was what she wanted to avoid coming here, but it would have to do for now. She would return another day to find something better but as for right now, her stomach ached with hunger. Grabbing it by it's ankle, she dragged the deer to behind the trees. She would appreciate to eat in silence and without the possibility of it's owner retrieving it.
Her eyes gleamed in hunger as she was about to take a bite, before her nose twitched. It was the scent of fresh kill, nearby. The carcass was soon forgotten and the thought of fresh meat filled her mind. Picking up her tired feet, she latched into the scent, mouth watering in anticipation. It didn't occur to her that another might take the carcass for themselves, and for now, it didn't matter. She was sorely wrong.

That day Morgäna had been busy collecting more herbs, of any kind she came across. Some having a much higher priority then others, depending upon what she came across. But she as well made sure to collect the more..vital parts for her herbal lore. Toxins were needed as well the parts that needed to be used for healing, luckily most if not nearly all the herbs came with both parts quite attached. Simply, she'd carefully separate the parts and dry the more toxic bits to be used for later on. If one made a mistake doing this however, one could easily fall due to their own mistake.

However, before she could make such a mistake due to a rumbling stomach. The dark women paused in her herb gathering before searching for a meal, one she found quite easily and fresh. Chasing off the small predator that took it down was easy enough, a show of force was what made the lynx think twice about keeping it's kill. Morgäna was far from above from stealing from a natural enemy. Yet it seemed another proved to come, just as the lynx left. Stepping over the kill the dark women gave a loud snarl as a warning, that tail held high and those ears pulled forth in an act of clear aggression. "I suggest you go find a meal of your own." Quite claiming this kill as hers.

At the sound of a growl, she whipped around to face a snarling female. Oh great, not another one. When will they learn?, She mentally sighed. But inside, she grinned, maliciously. She wasn't about to give up her meal for some weak little girl, no. The female would learn who she was messing with soon enough.
"Who do you think you are?" She let out, snarling with a malevolent tinge in her eyes.
These light wolves, these new wolves, messing with those they can't handle. She had enough of it. Her very existence would send the girl running with her tail between her legs. And it was a fact that her dark nature shine out of her coat, but as of right now, her evil ways could illuminate the sky. These wolves would feel her wrath one day and there would be no stopping her. The urge to have this girl's blood on her claws only heightened her need for bloodlust. It occurred to her that she was out of control, that the darkness had already taken over the rest of her little humanity and emptying the rest of her mercy, but she didn't care. Only the best for Blackfeather, she smiled crookedly.

So this one wanted to play, so be it. The dark women allowed a grin to take place upon that muzzle. "I know whom I am, but do you?" It matter little if this one knew who Morgäna was, it was highly unlikely but alas the women knew that family name was known to some. Or so she believed, then again she equally knew it could not be..which was all fine and dandy to the assassin. Alas, this one knew nothing of the one they were facing, for Morgäna was far more then some pretty face or air headed lass a part of a simple pack.

But of course Morgäna would keep such on the down low and simply wait to see what this women's actions would be. Holding her ground still and staring this..weakling in the eyes, she was confident and not backing down. The dark women had already claimed this kill and if it came to fighting over it, so be it. Morgäna could very well care for her own wounds after such a rough and tumble, for she was hardly afraid of getting down and dirty when such required it. Yet those inner demons were demanding to come out to play, perhaps she would let them demanding on the situation before her.

Frankly, Nemesis didn't care who the girl was or who she thought she was. She didn't care. Mind games could not trick the virago and she would get what she wanted. The girl was looking to be put in her place and Nemesis had no hesitation to do so. She boldened her appearance, looking the girl dead in the eyes, showing no hint of mercy or fragility. She was not under any circumstances to be messed with, and she had no empathy for the girl. Wolves like these needed to know their place. And she doubted the girl even knew the actions that led her to her darkened state. She was a cold blooded murdered, assassin, whatever you wanted to call it. Nobody outside of Blackfeather knew the meaning of shedding innocent blood, which she was sure the girl was about to claim she had done.
She would not attack first, only a fool would. Her training with Burke had clarified the fact. To study the opponent's moves, weaknesses and strengths was to benefit the counterattack. The girl was about her size so the job could be done fairly quickly.
Instead, kept her stone cold gaze on the girl as she made her warning. "This is my kill, now run along girl, before you get hurt" And she was dead serious. It was her job to kill, maim and torture, and to be fair, she was quite good at it. This invertebrate wouldn't stop her from taking her food, nevertheless unleashing her fury. She couldn't even stop herself anymore.

Morgäna stood her ground still, standing carefully over the kill, just in case the women had to be fleet of foot; which would no doubt happen here. Her stance only remained as it was, simply waiting to see if this one was foolish enough to make the first move. Then again it maybe not so, which would only prove how much of an coward this one indeed was. Simply Morgäna knew better then to engage first at least physically, she'd taunt and draw the other one into striking first, allowing her for an easy but effective attack if this one left themselves open to attack.

"Oh no my dear pup, I claimed this kill first. Now, go scamper off to your pack with your tail between your legs like the little good lass you are." Alas this one may know what to do but Morgäna was older and held more experience over the youngling before her. Never the less Morgäna took care in having those defenses at the ready, simply just in case..she wondered if this pup had the nerve to strike her first.

She narrowed her eyes at the mention of her pack. This girl really was stupid if she didn't understand where she came from. "Do you even get it? Or are you too slow to understand?" She maliciously snarled. At any rate, she had more experience with silencing another and this female wouldn't prove to be a challenge. " Oh wait, let me guess, you're from one of those silly little packs aren't you. Good to know i'm dealing with a softie" She smirked, malevolently. But there was no humor her tone, she was serious. The other pack, she came to know, were nothing compared to Blackfeather. Nothing at all. Anyone who knew what Blackfeather was and who it contained would have a different attitude than what the this female was expressing. Then it occurred to her that the girl could be new to her pack, but all the better for Nemesis.

Her banter was sure enough to create a rouse in the girl, and she wouldn't bat an eye. It was obvious who the superior was, herself. "Now back off, this is your last chance" She thundered, no hesitance in her voice.

Morgäna merely rose a brow at the girl and laughed at her and hard, Morgäna cared little as to whom she was or where she came from. It mattered little to nothing, then again Morgäna didn't typically cared if she was known or not. But the fact that this child had made it quite clear she wasn't known in the last, well that was fine and dandy to her. It simply gave her a fresh start to spread that name across the lands, but such would take time and precision. Time, it was one thing she did have. Shaking that head the dark lady only smirked at the one before her, awaiting their move.

"I don't give two shits who you are or who your pack is missy, now run along." But Morgäna didn't move, no, she wasn't going to do so. For she wasn't going to allow her self to be 'scared' off by some high and mighty prissy pants girl. Morgäna would put the girl in her place or perhaps go that extra mile and simply rid the lands of this ones arrogance.

Suddenly, she relaxed. It was a strange feeling, to be calm. But truly, it only meant her anger was at it's highest peak. But she would not strike first, it was what the girl wanted. Clearly, the girl was trying to make an impression, but she wouldn't give her the satisfaction. Nemesis sighed, they wouldn't learn.
"Okay, alright. Since this is getting nowhere, let's settle this fairly. You get half, I get half. Nobody has to die" She let out. At this rate, it was clear that this female wouldn't give up and she really didn't want to start a war, at least not right now. If the female took her offer, she could consider herself lucky. Nemesis made a mental note that the next time she saw this girl, there would be no negotiations.

Morgäna merely scoffed at the female and shook that head. "No." Firmly but flatly such was uttered, alas the dark women wasn't going to share the kill, not when she could eat it all her self. Morgäna didn't make a move still, knowing all too well then to leave her self open to an attack. Thus she stood over the fresh kill and merely waited for this pup to make a move, she didn't seem to have the backbone to do it. Scared? Perhaps, or was she little more then all show and no bite to back it up? It was the most likely occurrence then again Morgäna had ran into many of these types.

Last post for me! Thanks for the awesome thread!! :D
Nemesis stood, deathly silent. She was no fool, unlike this one. No, instead of fighting over the rotten carcass, she would leave this arrogant girl to a greater doom. She would inform Blackfeather about this girl, tell them about the pack she came from and who to look for. If the girl ever showed up on their lands for any reason, all hell would break loose.
Without warning, she made a lung at the deer, gripping it's leg in her mouth and tearing it away from the rest of it's body. The girl could have the rest, at that moment, she didn't care. Flinging it behind her, her vicious gaze set on the girl. Looking into her eyes, she uttered her last warning. "Fine. Just know that if you ever set foot near Blackfeather or approach in any way, pray to god you will be saved" She hissed, her tone malevolently cruel.
"I am not a fool to fight you, we both have an equal chance to win. But for the sake of my pack, and your's, I would not be so foolhardy as to provoke a fight with a trained killer. You should know better, any intelligent wolf would. And for your packmates sympathy, I hope they survive with an imprudent wolf like you. Good day" She parted, not uttering another word.
On any other day, she would take the provocation and realitale with a much deadlier force than her words but she kept in mind her duty to her pack.
Winter was approaching, and nobody could afford the loss of a packmate, or the threat of war.
Picking up the leg in her jaws, she started back to Blackfeather, eager to share such news with her packmates. Wherever that wolf was from, they sure gained a weapon, that was for sure. The spirit the female harboured would fit right in at Blackfeather, regardless of her previous thoughts. And she found herself smirking at the fact.
