Haven walked alongside Sebastian, the two had been trekking to the coast all day long, and the sun was just beginning to set over the horizon. She was very happy alongside her new friend, she felt safe around him. Finally they made it to the coast. She looked out towards a long peninsula, breaking from the treeline. All around it were bright colors, whether it be the yellow orange color of the trees in autumn, intense greens of the grass and ferns, or the beautiful pinks and orange of the sunset sky, the most vivid of the colors was the deep aquamarine like blue of the ocean. Haven's eyes widened in awe as she got her first taste of the sea.

Wow! This is amazing! She stood awestruck for a moment, just looking out at the beautiful shimmering ocean. She turned and looked at Sebastian, a huge grin on her face. She couldn't seem to find words for her feelings, she was overwhelmed. She could only jerk her head as if signaling follow, and run towards the peninsula. She whizzed past the shimmering long green grass and patches of wildflowers that lined the cape. Normally Haven would never pass a patch of flowers without rolling in them or at least smelling them. But this was a special occasion. She came to the end of the peninsula that over looked the sea. She came to a halt of the rocky surface and looked down.

Below her were splotches of color mixed in with the clear cerulean. What are those things?! She asked, eyes fixated on the bright colored creatures. The swimming animals were small fish, the kind seen at the ocean, but Haven had only ever seen the boring brown and grey trout that lived in rivers and lakes.

Sebastian smiled as he walked with the female. She seemed very impressed by the sea. He had been the same only a week ago. He was calmly following her. He was familiar with the excitement so he let her rush forward to see everything. He was looking around just in case there was some crazy wolf wanting to disturb them. Sebastian felt a bit protective over her. But he used to have that quickly even with friends. He didn't think much of it. The male stepped closer to the cliffs. He was amazed that she could see the fish. "Those are fish, you see them better from the beach instead of these cliffs. The water is salty and it tastes weird so I am not sure the fish taste nice," he smiled, it was a handsome smile.

The immense tank of a male stood next to her. The salty air going through their fur. He nudged her shoulder gently. "Lets go more to the beach side, maybe we see some seals," he offered. Sebastian hoped to impress her with the recent seal hunting skills he learned. His tail had a gentle way in it as he started to walk the path down. He realized that this female was younger than him. Part of her charm was a bit of her pup-like enthusiasm about this location. Sebastian wanted to get to know her more, she seemed very nice. Still he was rather skeptical. His trust in another wolf was hard to come by. "Do you know what seals are?," he asked as he walked down the rather steep path to the small beach. It was probably also a good spot to spend the night. The walls of the cliff would shield them, and there might be a cave too.

Haven turned her head to see Sebastian trotting up next to her. Those are fish? They're so colorful! She watched the colorful blurs streaking through the water, then disappear into the crystal blue again. She squinted her eyes, trying to see them again, but she couldn't. She glanced at Sebastian, al look of awe and interest on her face. He seemed pretty happy, and Haven was glad of that. She was definitely enjoying her time at the beach with him more than she would on her own. She felt a soft nudge at she shoulder, and looked at him, eyes wide as he offered for them to go down to the beach. Yeah sure, of course. She replied humbly, a soft wag in her tail.

The grey wolf followed the handsome male down the cliff and down the rocky crags towards a small beach. She thought about him as they walked, he was so charming and kind. She hadn't met another male like him. She felt an obligation to trust him, almost like he set off a likable aura. She couldn't quite put her paws on what it was about him. She could only look at him, mystified. Sebastian asked her a question, and confusion washed over her. Seals, seals, no idea what a seals is. She thought for a moment before replying, No I don't think so. Are seals edible? She asked, trying to picture what a seals could possibly look like.

Sebastian trotted down, he was also surprised by the fish. Once he reached the bottom he turned to face her. "So I guess you like fishing then? I am a really good fisherman but I didn't try it in these waters yet because I didn't like the taste of it," he returned. The sand was soft under his feet. He then turned around to spy the small beach. They were in luck there were a few seals. Sebastian's tail wagged and then turned to the girl. "See those lumps that look like stones?," he asked. "Those are seals. I will need your help but basically, you will have to take the tail of one of those and drag it up the beach okay?," he instructed. "Make sure that they won't escape to the water because then they are gone."

Sebastian sneaked closer, getting a bit lower to the ground. The seals were still soaking up some of the last sun. The last thing Sebastian ate was seal, which was a few days ago, making him rather hungry. He eyed at the female and let her pick one. He would instantly block its path as she would drag the heavy creature back. Maybe he would need to help her with that, then she could make the kill. Though, as a young man he wanted to show her that he could provide a meal. Maybe it was just instinct that was telling him that, since well, when a female was pregnant she would need to reply on her mate for food once the day of birth would be close.

Haven nodded, though the thought of salty water only confused her more. I'm not the best fisher, but I try. She chuckled jokingly, a playful grin on her face. Suddenly the grey wolf felt something different under her paws. She jumped back momentarily, shocked, then stared down at the pale tan sand beneath her paws. She had never felt sand before, and it fascinated her. She dipped a paw back into the sand, cautiously and curiously. She soon decided that it was safe, in fact she liked it. She looked back up at Sebastian, who was asking her about the big rocks resting in the distance.

Oh. So that's a seal. They look like rocks. Haven thought, looking at the blubbery animals with a grossed out face. She didn't at all like the way they jiggled. But they did look pretty tasty. She turned back to Sebastian, who was giving her instructions as to how to catch a seal. She nodded, Ok got it! Haven was usually a laidback and sweet wolf. At a first thought, one could consider her a petite pretty girl. Well that just wasn't her. She crouched down behind a rock, Sebastian at her side. She zeroed in on a fat seal at the edge of the crowd, it seemed ultimately unaware of the presence of predators.

She glanced at Sebastian and flicked her white tipped tail, signaling towards the one she was going after. Alright Haven, you can do this. You've hunted tons of creatures, this is just another one. The young female reassured herself, eyes fixated on the seal. Suddenly, she leaped out, rushing forwards full speed towards the seal. She startled the creature, biting into its tail with her pearly white teeth. She could taste its blood in her mouth, and it wasn't half bad. Haven was strong, not the strongest, but strong enough. However the seal was a bit heavier than planned. It twisted and turned, trying to get at her with its own teeth. Haven was too nimble though, and her prey couldn't have caught her even if it really tried.

The grey wolf began yanking at the large creature, pulling it back up the sandy back towards the rockier area. She could sense Sebastian near, and waited for him to tell her that she was far enough away from the water to let the beast go. It was really starting to tire her. Seburshtern ish thirsh furr eneourgh? She barked through a mouthful of seal, glancing in her companions direction, all the while keeping a safe distance from the seal's attacks.

Sebastian was right there with her actually. He wasn't going to let that seal escape and if she wasn't holding on then he could take over. It seemed that the girl had it in hand better than he expected. She was so much smaller than him, so he was surprised. The male rushed forward as she got closer. The animals were terribly slow on the beach and his jaw clamp around the seal's neck. He pushed it into the sand where the blood was starting to leak onto. He made sure that the seal wouldn't get his teeth close to Haven.

With the thick blubber it was tough to find the neck. He eyed at Haven that she could let go because the seal as going to fight now. It's tail was flailing around as Sebastian kept it down against the ground. Soon the seal was tried, just like Sebastian. This was more a prey you needed to be strong with than to have the stamina to run. The seal gave up and let out his last breath. Sebastian's muzzle was trained with blood. The others had been looking at the ordeal from the sea. The male unlocked his jaw and licked his muzzle. "Good job," he hummed.

The grey male then pushed the seal more on its side and opened up his belly, he bit his way through the blubber into the flesh. The fat would be a great thing to eat in winter. The meat was dark red and looked very juicy. He turned to Haven and offered to her the open spot while he made the wound bigger so both their heads could fit in. Sebastian smiled feeling very accomplished that he managed to kill one with her help. In the quietness Sebastian started eating. The male was clearly hungry.

To Haven's relief, Sebastian took over a few moments after she called for his help. She stepped back as the large grey male sank his teeth into the blubbery animals neck, well what she assumed was its neck. It flailed around for a moment, Haven jumping forwards and stepping on its tail to keep it from hurting Sebastian. After a few moments it stopped, as did it's breathing. Haven slowly stepped off of the seal and turned to her companion, Thanks, and you were amazing too! She smiled, then looked down at their fresh kill.

Sebastian flipped the seal over and opened up a wound to eat from. Haven dipped her head graciously and dug in next to him. She could feel the warmth of his body up against hers, feel his heartbeat softly. Both of them had gotten a bit drained from the struggle, luckily it hadn't ended in failure. The warm blood and flesh of the seal was delicious, and Haven found that she liked seal. After a while of eating, she stopped having carved out a hole in the dead animal. She looked over at Sebastian and let out a sigh, which became a burp. She forgot that it wasn't very ladylike to burp around others, when she was a pup, she would have burping contests with her siblings. She blushed and squeaked, Excuse me.

Haven laid down, belly full, she began to feel as if she'd ate too much. She groaned humorously, stretching out over the ground. This what being pregnant must feel like. She joked, glancing at Sebastian. She paused for a moment, then responded, So what now? I'm feeling much better now, energy wise, but I think I could go for a quick nap. Should we look for a cave or shelter for tonight? The sun had all but disappeared over the horizon, casting a huge glimmering reflection in the cerulean waters. She had officially decided that she loved the coast as well.

Sebastian ate next to her in peace, normally wolves eating was a loud ordeal but he didn't have to fight for the meat. They were both equals in this moment and there was more than enough meat. He looked up from the meat when she let out a rather cute burp. Sebastian chuckled before ducking his head back into the carcass. He wanted to stock up as much as he could in this moment since as a lone wolf he wasn't sure when he was going to eat again. In the end his stomach was round with kilos of meat. He sat back down, laughing softly at her comment. "I feel you," he spoke, since his own stomach was rather extended. "We both have food babies."

Sebastian's face was smeared with blood. He tried to lick his muzzle clean. It was the same for the female since she eaten too from the carcass. Sebastian wasn't sure if it was acceptable for him to groom her, they weren't in a pack together so bonding in that way wasn't really necessary. Sebastian looked over the water to where the sun to then turn to the rather steep rock wall. "I think there might be a cave around here," he spoke thoughtfully. He had more than enough meat so he let the carcass lay here. The large male couldn't sleep anywhere. He walked over to the steep wall and inspected it for a cave, none were found so he dug a bit of a hole against the rock wall into the soft sand.

The male laid down so the female wouldn't have to lay against the rocks. Sebastian's blood smeared face looked at her for a moment, his pale eyes even more striking. "You can lay against me if you want. I am rather soft and fluffy," he spoke but then realized that such I thing might make him sound weak. "I mean.. My coat is. I am .. super tough," he spoke though it sounded rather adorable instead of arrogant.

Haven smiled with a laugh as Sebastian joked along with her. She glanced down at her food baby, and rolled her eyes. Gosh Haven, you should slow down eating next time. You really don't look too flattering with this look. She thought, as she licked her lips trying the clear the blood from her face. She watched Sebastian groom himself as well and thought for a moment that they should groom each other. But they weren't in the same pack, Sebastian wasn't in a pack at all, and so that would be awkward. I guess. She thought sadly, wishing she could be closer to the male. She felt a connection to him, and was enticed by him. She wanted to know more about him.

She sat up, following Sebastian's gaze to the steep wall of stone. I hope so. She mumbled, following him in the search for a cave. He couldn't seem to find one, so he went proactive and dug one. Haven found that attractive. He seemed to be looking at her for a moment, she could only look back with her big golden eyes. He offered for her to lay against him, and she nodded, Thanks. She whispered quietly in his ear before laying down next to him in the temporary sand den. She found it cute how he tried to make up for saying something, 'non manly'. She giggled and replied teasingly, Oh yeah, you're a real killer. Good night Sebastian. And with that she couldn't fight the urge to give him a quick lick on his cheek. She them turned back around and laid her head on her paws, it didn't take too long for her to drift off into sleep.

<3 Should we fade off to sleep, and the next post be morning or do you wan tot put in another post before hand?

Oh I can put in another post and start with the morning. And it wasn't a sand den, more like a pit in the sand by the rock wall xD Sorry! :D

Sebastian actually found her rather attractive with the food baby. He was a male after all and seeing a female with a round belly could indicate pups. Especially when it would be his pups a dominant male would be very pleased to have some off spring. Sebastian wasn't sure about the whole kids thing, but he doubt that could come with time. He wanted to find a nice female first before even starting to think about that. He smiled a bit when she laid down next to him in the pit he dug quickly.

He blinked in surprise when he got a lick over his cheek. His pale eyes fell on her as she laid down against him. Sebastian looked out over the dark sea for a moment, not instantly going back to sleep. He liked to watch over the area one more time before he deemed it safe enough. He laid his head down next to her and closed his eyes. It was weird to have someone next to him as he tried to sleep. The morning came too quickly for him. The first rays of light hitting his face and waking him up. Sebastian yawned and stretched himself until he realized that the female was there. Oh right!

"Morning," he mumbled and sleepily placed his head down again, so tempted to close his eyes again. He was rather warm and cozy against the female, realizing he was almost laying with his head on her paws.

Oh ok xP

Haven awoke to the bright sun streaming onto her face. She rolled over, eyes squinted to see Sebastian, with his head close to her paws. She almost didn't want to get up, she was so warm and cozy. The last time she'd snuggled with someone was back at Ivory Falls with her siblings. She hadn't realized how much she missed being close to someone. Morning. She groaned back, still groggily. She stretched out her fluffy white legs, and yawned.

Haven got her first sight of a morning at the coast a few moments later. The sunset had been rather pretty, but she couldn't have imagined the sunrise. Purples, pinks, yellows, oranges, greens, blues all the colors she could imagine streaked the sky and shimmered over the water. Her eyes widened and she nudged Sebastian softly with her nose. Look! Look at the sunrise! It's so pretty! She stood slowly, still stiff from last night's rest. She shook her fur and padded out of the sand pit, almost stumbling it the soft turf. She looked over at the beach, behind her was the cliff, above it the green forest and craggy cliffs. But in front of her was the real marvel.

She turned back to Sebastian and smiled, a beautiful and charming smile, Come on, lets go watch the sunrise from up there! She jerked her head smoothly in the direction of the peninsula above them, wanted to go up it. Haven's real charm was in her childish curiosity. Everything mystified her so, making her seem so good, so hopeful. Like a light in the darkness, she could always find her way. She shook her pelt, the brown tints looked like gold, and the grey like silver. She was really shining in the morning light.

Sebastian hummed softly as the girl spoke. He was not that much of a morning wolf. Not always. He was preferred cuddling over being up early. He rather liked to be snuggled up against her. He was about the snuggle closer when she jumped up. Sebastian opened his eyes, looking at her from where his head was resting. He yawned too, loudly before getting up and stretching himself. He gave himself a lazy shake so most of the sand would be out of his fur. He smiled a bit sleepily when she nudged him. It was indeed beautiful.

The male was momentarily mesmerized by her smile and all the lights. "Sure," he spoke. He followed her up to the cliffs. There was something so positive about her. Sebastian liked it. Maybe he was too serious and too negative about things sometimes. It seemed they balanced each other out well. The young male had to survive another shock as the light was hitting her fur. She looked beautiful but he didn't dare to say it yet. The male stepped next to her looking at all the morning lights. He smiled at her for a moment. "If you find a pack at the coast then you could look at these sunrises every day," he pointed out.

Though, now he thought of it, he didn't know any packs that lived at the beach area. The young male knew that the pack that he ran into was going away to the mountains. And while he was here the young man didn't smell any other packs around. Curious. "Or start your own pack here, so you can watch it," he then smiled. He wasn't sure if she was the leading type though.

Haven found it cute how Sebastian seemed not to be a morning wolf. He was still very groggy when she nudged him up. Well she thought he was cute in general, though she wouldn't dare to say it yet. She was starting to have feelings more than friendship for him. Last night's sleep had been so nice and warm, she very much enjoyed his presence. She trotted up to the peninsula, up the steep rocky wall, then stared out at the sunrise. She could see the light penetrating through the silky white clouds, and it made her heart race. Sebastian came up next to her to watch the sunrise by her side.

He suggested something she hadn't really thought of yet. What if I stayed here? Started a pack by the coast! That would be so great! Haven may seem like a lovable and innocent woman, but she was very much the leader type. She could be sharp and aggressive if need be. She was quite bossy as well sometimes, so keeping a pack in order would come naturally to her. In her pack at Ivory Falls, she was Beta, her parents were setting her up to take over before the... incident. She would love to have her own pack, especially by the sea. But she wouldn't do it alone. She'd have to find a mate first.

She turned and looked at Sebastian, pausing to think. Then she said, I would love to start a pack here! It would be wonderful, with all this, and the forest I've barely even explored yet! But... I have a pack already. The Grove wolves have been very kind to me, it wouldn't be fair for me to abandon them. Besides I wouldn't want to start a pack on my own. She said the last sentence, sort of hinting her crush on Sebastian. She wanted to tell him how she felt about him, but just wasn't sure yet.

Then a great thought popped into her head, her face lit up excitedly. Wait! What if, umm, you came back with me to the Grove! You could join our pack, and we could still be friends. Being honest I've had the best time here with you, and I don't want to leave. But it would be way more bearable if I went back with you! Will you at least think about it? She asked, her eyes were full of hope, almost desperation. She wanted badly not to lose a friend like Sebastian, not when she felt the way she did about him. If he came back to the pack with her, then she could learn more about him, grow closer to him, and maybe someday, they could leave and make their own pack by the sea. There were many possibilities for the future.

Haha, omg. If Sebastian joins JFG I definitely want boy drama between @Ayana and Haven xD

Sebastian watched the sun go to the sky, it had to wake up just like him because it moved rather slowly. Sebastian tipped his head a bit, until his ear turned to Haven. The young male was rather oblivious to what the female was hinting. Frankly, being a male he was not so good at female hints. Sebastian liked her company and to be around her but he hadn't thought too much of it. Females were rather... weird creatures sometimes and when he thought they had a crush on him then it turned out not to be. That was what he experienced before. Plus he didn't know that aggressive side of Haven.

"Well you can ask other wolves to join you, perhaps? Or talk to loners...," he pointed out, and then he realized that he was a loner. But before he could reply Haven seemed to have an idea. His ears perked up because of her enthusiastic 'wait'. He was glad she said that last sentence, very strategic. "I will think about it. I also have my loyalties with my own pack. I promised I wanted to return. It wouldn't feel right to join another pack. But perhaps I will change my mind. Let me at least walk you back to your pack. Then I can hang around that area and we could possibly meet up again if you would want that," he spoke, feeling a bit flustered for a moment.

He looked over her. He had a good time too and it seemed she was sweet and knew how to hunt. The young male realized he was staring and quickly looked away. "Um. Yeah. Walking you back. I had a good time with you too. I didn't mean to um.. you know spend the night with me already," he pointed out. Just because it happened it was just a nice feeling. Nothing felt forced. Sebastian started walking maybe the easier route would be to go North and not over the mountains but Sebastian rather did not want to go North or the south of the mountains. So he moved to the mountains, going the route the way they came.

Possible end, we could have a thread at Overture Downs where he says goodbye to her etc.? :3 Let me know through PM!
