@Burke
:D

Pietro felt his stomach churn. He knew he was hungry, but eating didn't sound good. He stifled out a tiny whimper, trying to distract his urge not to eat. He was bored out of his mind and wanted someone to play with him. He yawned and looked around the Glen he was always stuck in. Wouldn't in be fun to see what went on outside? He struggled to let out a bark-whine mix, trying to get someone to play with him. He glanced at his sister, she was sleeping. No one to play with, so he sat, and continued to wait around for entertainment to knock him upside the head.

Burke stepped into the clearing after he patrolled the borders and took some meat form the caches. He was a little bit late because the food still needed to settle down. Burke had no clue in how to raise children. He knew they excepted food and he had to give it to them by regurgitating it. He wasn't really sure when they would start to eat meat by themselves, maybe he should check their teeth, maybe they would just tell him.

"Daddy is here," he spoke, his stump of a docked tail wiggling a bit because he was very fond of his own children. He wanted to be a good father for them, without him they would probably die. He greeted Pietro with a soft hum, to then greet @Kendra too.

Tagging Kendra too, for if she wants to jump in on this :3

Pietro let out a tiny yelp as Burke strolled in. His tiny tail wagging a bit. Pietro loved his father, so any time he got the chance he wanted to see him. He couldn't talk to much to Burke yet, besides little words here and there. He crawled forward trying to reach his father. He reached his feet and licked Burkes paws with his tiny tongue. Pietro yelped and whinned. He was trying to communicate. All you could pull out of his yelping fit was. "Bored!"

Sebastian was created by an excitable Pietro it seemed. Burke wondered why he was crawling while he could perfectly walk before. Kids. Maybe it was just him playing around. Though he would keep an eye on this if he was keeping the crawling up. Burke moved his move closer to Pietro. "Hush now," he spoke in return. "I have food," he spoke, that usually seemed to help. With the pup licking him and his muzzle it was an automatic reaction to heave the meat up out of his stomach for the young ones to eat.

Burke sat back, letting the twins have their meal of chewed meats. Hopefully soon they would start to eat meat on their own. Burke licked his own muzzle clean as he watched them, wanting to make sure they ate well so they would stay healthy.

Kendra was happily sleeping until  she caught some sounds that were familiar to her. She lifted her head and looked at her father and her brother, yet did not move. It was cold, and she did not want to uncurl to get to the food, besides she was not hungry.  She just growned, and  grumply walked to her father to set her butt under his front leg and settle there to resume her napping, while being heated by the tank he was.

Pietro was crawling because he was trying to be sneaky. He obviously wasn't sneaky enough for Burke. Pietro wasn't hungry for food when Burke offered it. Pietro stood up and walked away, he would have to get over not being sneaky enough. He wagged his tail and jumped down on a leaf that had moved in, crushing it. He turned back to his father smiled. He bounded forward and tackled his sister. "Play!" He screeched.

It seemed both of his children weren't really eager for food. Ungrateful shits, he thought with a scowl on his face. Though it quickly warmed up when Kendra tried to curl up on his paw. He didn't notice it was chilly outside with his thick alaskan fur. Burke looked around but was soon distracted as Pietro jumped her sister. "Let's go inside for now," he spoke and nudged them to the den with his nose. He quickly dug up some dirt and covered the meat. He didn't want it to attached other scavengers. "We can play inside," he offered.

Kendra loved her brother but once he tackled her she would let him know she didn't appreciate that. She wanted to keep herself warm after all. The girl let out a protesting speak. "No, Piettt," she let out and then stated biting on his muzzle. She looked up when her father told them to go inside. Kendra was a little stubborn, not feeling like playing but she did like to stay warm so she quickly rushed after her daddy. Instantly burying herself in his fur. "Piettooo come," she spoke, wanting to be close to her brother.

Pietro drew brow down to a frown. "Noooo! No inside!" He squeaked. He looked at his father and at his sister. He felt his tiny heart swell. Though he was tiny, he felt emotions like a grown wolf. He loved his family, though he didn't have his mother beside him, he felt her fully in spirit. Thinking about his family made him melt. He looked at his father for a second. He wanted to stay with him and his sister forever. He got up and walked up to his sister. He curled around her and licked her head. He licked his father, and placed his head down. "Love Ken and Daddy."

Burke looked with a skeptical gaze at his son. He didn't want to go inside but then he followed them anyways. It was probably because Kendra followed him. It was cute to say that he loved them. It even made the grumpy smile. He licked over Pietro's cheek. "I love you too," he whispered to him. Like it was a big secret no one else was allowed to know. He licked over the top of Kendra's head too. Burke then rested his head on his paws, tired of today but he would have to watch the kids play. With the incoming cold he was wondering how he was going to drain all their energy.

Kendra glanced from her brother to her father. Her baby blue eyes were paling more to the color of Burke's eyes every day. She gotten a lick on top of her head and snuggled her face more into Burke's fur, all warm and cozy now. She glanced at her brother. He knew she loved him. Her eyes watching him for a moment in the darkness of the den. She liked the darkness, and she liked her family like Pietro, but she was more silent in the way she showed that. She then rested her eyes, feeling safe enough with her father around to sleep.

Pietro wanted nothing more than to run out of their den and race around. He tried to fall asleep, but his eyes kept darting open. He looked at his sister, who was happily asleep. He looked at his father with admiration, but he seemed asleep too. He looked around his den, only his eyes moving. He felt his stomach growl, not out of hunger, but out of nervousness. He wished he could stay here, merged into his family forever. Pietro had been thinking about his mother recently, he couldn't remember exactly what she looked like, but he remembered hearing her soothing voice. He slowly got up, carefully stepping over the two wolves. He walked gracefully to the opening of the den. He sat down, looking out into the open, chilly world. The winter weather didn't move him, as he was focused.

Burke raised his head when Pietro was all full of energy. When the pup moved to the entrance of the den he was close to letting out a soft woof to call him back, but the pup didn't go outside. He placed his head on his paws again. Letting the pup be for now. As long as he didn't go out in the snow by himself. Burke was certain he was smart enough not to do that. He was very proud of his pups already, they took after him and Meldresi. Now they were more mobile Burke was also getting better with how to handle them. When they were crying potatoes he was quite clueless. Luckily now they could at least tell them when something was wrong.
