Silvertip Mountain what lies in the shadow of the stars

Joining
Despite her straightforward intentions, Frisk flittered about like a hummingbird might. Her mind had wandered, as it often did, and her paws had been quick to follow suite. In its novelty, Teekon was a place of life and splendor — even with the frigid season pressing against it with cold, breathless lungs. She lingered in areas of particular interest, and then let whim whisk her elsewhere when she tired of the sights. After much dawdling, the dusky yearling finally settled upon a rocky, scantly worn trail.

Aided by the winter's powerful gusts, her nostrils were quickly caught with the Mountain's sharp borders. She settled upon the uneven ground, and let out a call fresh with immaturity. Her voice seemed so inexplicably small against the wind as it whipped passed her ears, yet Frisk stood obstinate, undaunted in her pursuit — she'd weathered worse than the mountain's roaring winds, however mighty. Her limbs, sore, aching, and yet stubbornly able; they served as a physical testament to this.

Hope you don't mind me dropping by! And any other pack mates.

Chaska, after being a victim of the memory-wipe he suffered, had spent the past days exploring the mountain, getting his bearings again. Not all of him was there, though. As well as nothing of his other side. On this day, he went along a rocky trail. The same as another unexpected 'guest' he knew not of. Until her scent hit him. It was unfamiliar, which meant two things: New member, or trespasser. And when he smelt no scent of Silvertip on her, he sped forward.

He had the intention of chasing her off. Until he saw her. By the look of it, she looked in desperate need of aid, like an old tree that had been standing for too long. At any moment, it could topple and fall. And on a trail like this, not a good idea. So he did what he thought was right.

Approaching, slowly and having his head held up, but not too high to protect his neck, and his eyes beaded on her. "What are you doing here?" he asked, with a protective, yet not too hostile of a tone.

Just to let you know, I've added you to the group as a TDB, the outcome of this thread will decide whether Frisk is accepted or not :D

FitzDutiful was pleased that the worst of the winter was over. With his head held high, he began a patrol of his borders. With the new census in the valley that the current trades weren't enough and specialities were required, he had decided it was an idea to enact that within his borders too and work on his own trade specialities. It made sense after all, and a leader sought to lead by example. Although he didn't want his pack members to be suitable candidates for other packs he wasn't naive enough to expect them all to stay for their lives - especially his children. Mason and June would be adults within a few short days, a thought that was terrifying. They, and future pups, deserved to have good teachers.

As he walked, he spotted a loner on the borders, Chaska seemed to have the matter in hand, but still FitzDutiful went to aid his longest member with a smile to say hello as he did, he had heard the male was back to his usual self though he had yet to see that for himself. For now, he was alert for any signs of aggression from the lone wolf, but hopefully none would occur.
