All Welcome
For @Krypton but left it open just in case. c:

Things had changed. In big and many ways since her arrival back into Teekon and her run-in with Krypton. The Scandinavian woman's ambitions hadn't went anywhere, in reality they were in full swing, but Stavanger Bay and even Ravensblood Forest were off the plate. She hated to leave either ...they were sacred to Ragnar and thus they remained sacred to her but Thurin was right even if Gyda was reluctant to admit it, and together they could strike their own legacy. A meld of their respective cultures ...cultures that were truly not quite so different from one another. In some way as if the Amazon pack had mushed together with the Viking pack and had made Thurin's once home. Regardless of the change, and now the distance between their respective territories Gyda had promised a visit of sorts. This was her keeping to her word ...and to tell Krypton of where she could be found (for good) in case the other woman wished to pay a visit of her own.

This was her last stop before her return to Sleeping Dragon. She was anxious to return, anxious to resume preparations where she had left off. Anxious to see what progress Thurin had made in her absence. Gyda Loðbrok was a woman of her word, however, and she would not return until at least some kind of message was made if she could not outright get ahold of Krypton. Her pace slowed as she neared the borders of Silvertip Mountain, eyes cast towards it's peak stretching towards the cloudy afternoon sky. Gyda left a respectful distance between their borders and her own before she lifted her muzzle and let out a howl.

Out and about near the outskirts of the land, the tall woman's legs effortlessly covered the snowy ground in a soft walk pace. Again she was home bound, not really in search to explore just yet. Her mind was becoming consumed in thoughts, some helpful and creative, others dangerous and insane. This was the life of the woman known as Krypton. Always plotting, always thinking, always doing this or that.

Her thoughts (which were deadly at the time) were cut short at the hearing of a loud howl. At first, the woman started to sprint towards the howl, knowing very well it was a wolf but it sounded faint enough that the owner of the howl was a fair distance away from the borders. However, the howl sounded... familiar. Her brain racked itself to recognize the tone of the howl, who's could it be? At first she came empty, but then it clicked when it sounded a bit feminine. She had only met one female before.

It was Gyda! The viking queen herself has decided to pay a visit, just as she promised before. The woman felt a huge smile crawl upon her mouth and let out a loud bark to signify she was on her way, hopefully it would be loud enough for her to hear, although Gyda was most likely farther away. Hopefully she would hear Krypton and know she was on her way to greet her. While on the run, Krypton was thinking again. Did Gyda find a a piece of land to claim? Has sh lived up to her father's legend and made it her own?

The brown and tan wolf shook her head. It would be a weird miracle for that to happen so quickly. Whatever the reason, she didn't care at the moment for anymore. All that mattered was getting to Gyda and finally meeting her again.

As her howl lifted and trailed off into the cool air, Gyda watched a tendril of steam slip from between her lips; warm against the cool air that her breath rushed out to meet writhing in the air before it dissipated. In the time she had to observe before either Krypton or one of her pack mates made a presence she took a moment to study the mountain. It reminded her a little bit of Sleeping Dragon, the territory that Thurinwethil and her intended to claim for them and those who would swear fealty and loyalty to them and their ways. Unorthodox as they would no doubt seem to these summer wolves. At least, that was how she had once heard Ragnar call wolves of the Teekon Wilds (despite that she, herself, was a Teekon native). Gyda was not sure how long it might take her to get used to living on and  such a rocky and treacherous terrain — after all she was used to living on the coast. Perhaps Horizon Ridge had been just as treacherous ...but she could not really remember the Ridge all that well. Her time there was very brief before Ragnar had decided to relocate to Stavanger Bay. She would adapt. She was a Viking, after all — harsher than the north's icy winds, and as fierce as Freyja herself.

It was faint but Gyda's ears of silver velveteen had perked, attentive, as she picked up what she believed to be a bark given out shortly after her howl had died into the frigid winter air. She couldn't be sure but she suspected that it was Krypton. These suspicions were merely confirmed when the earthen colored female's silhouette, accenting her large and broad frame, came into Gyda's view. Her howl could have brought any one of Silvertip's wolves to greet her despite that it had held intention for only one, in truth. Nevertheless Gyda was glad that Krypton was the one to answer her call with her appearance. “Hello Krypton,” The Scandinavian greeted the Silvertip woman, cringing slightly as her accent played with the other woman's name in strange ways. Her accent was a mimicry of Ragnar's own and she wouldn't have it any other way (even if she did sometime feel secondhand embarrassment at enunciating the wrong sounds and/or butchering a name).

Cameo so skip me in the posting order :D

FitzDutiful heard the howl calling Krypton and wondered who it could be. He was wary of Krypton allowing another to set foot into their lands so he made it way, slowly, down the mountain. He didn't want to intrude for he had no plans to take more wolves into the pack. They were pushing themselves to the limit and any more might push them past the boundaries of what they could support.

FitzDutiful spotted the females from a distance, just as Krypton arrived and noted that the female wolf was a respectful distance from the borders. Still, his shadowy figure remained watching them. He was too far away to hear any words, though as the wind changed the scent of the lone wolf came upon it. He waited, waited until he was sure the lone wolf wouldn't enter their lands. Once he was sure, then he would depart but not before.

Krypton continued her hurried pace to find where Gyda was, her fur color was hard to find when everything was covered in snow. However, her ears twitched when she saw her, standing a nice distance away from the borders. The agouti female stepped over, hearing the viking greet her kindly, her accent profound. She smiled towards her, tail wagging but her hackles and fur lowered. She was on the same level with Gyda when out of the territory. Instinctively, she greeted back "Hello Gyda! It's nice to see you again." She spoke with words dripping with honey, they were filled with pure truth though. She remembered when Gyda said she was going to visit her, she had kept to it.

With a content smile, the dirt colored wolf had a very content smile on her face. She didn't even take notice to the scent of her Alpha watching the two women.

Gyda watched the Silvertip woman's approach, noting the woman's smile. Gyda's lips upturned into one that mirrored Krypton's own. She could not claim to know Krypton that well for this was only the second time that they had met but Gyda did not deny that there was a budding friendship to be found there. Perhaps it was borne of the respect that the Silvertip woman had showed the viking queen — or perhaps it was for the simple fact that growing up Gyda had never had many friends. She had rarely left Ragnar's side as a child and when she was old enough to explore outside of Stavanger Bay she had left with Nerian, keeping the priestess safe though Gyda was but a girl. In truth, Thurin had been her first real friend outside of her brothers. Gyda had made friends in Odinn's Cove, of course, but these friendships were different. She was their matriarch, as well and she could not always perceive them so objectively. She had to be a fair ruler, friend or not friend.

“It is nice to see you as well,” Gyda returned with a slight wag of her tail. “How have you been since we last spoke?” The shield-maiden inquired kindly. It hadn't truly been too long but Gyda found that it often didn't take long at all for things to manifest. Most of the time it tended to happen in the blink of an eye.

The dirt-colored woman kept a smile reflecting to her viking friend. She was so happy to see someone outside of the pack. Of coarse she loved them all, but she couldn't help but not want to be visited by someone else. Gyda's first question was about the event that have happened since their meeting until now to their rendezvous. The woman beamed and spoke with a happy voice. "Life has been kind to my family and myself." The woman didn't pay much attention to her words, but one broke her mind. Family. Never had she really said that her pack was her family out loud. Of coarse she loved them like family, and hoped they did the same. However she never really told anyone she saw them so close to her.

She looked to the viking woman and decided to ask her the same. "Has life treated you well too?" She was curious to hear about the viking woman, she hoped life was good to her. She deserved it, considering what Krypton had interpreted from Gyda's history of her family and culture. It sounded a little too rough for the burly woman's taste, but she couldn't argue with anything Gyda would say about it.

“Good,” Gyda responded when Krypton spoke that life had thus far been kind to her and her family. For a moment Gyda wondered if Krypton had a mate and children stowed away on this mountain but had not smelled anything so specific upon her fur and came to the assumption that the earthen colored woman meant the pack as a whole. “Yes,” She mourned Ragnar's death still, perhaps would always mourn his loss but she could not claim that life had been unkind. Trying, perhaps, but she was still alive. Her mother was alive, and the siblings that she knew of and had never met were alive. For Mercury and Gunnar she could not speak for no one had seen hide nor hair of them in quite some time but they were resilient beasts and she did not doubt that they were alive and doing well where ever it was they had gone.

“I was reunited with a friend of mine and together we are forming a pack on Sleeping Dragon. I expect that it will soon be official after my return back from this trip.” Gyda was excited to share this news …for more reasons than one. “It is a territory north of here, away from Stavanger Bay and Ravensblood Forest.” As much as those two territories meant to her she knew she had to let them go. It was a reluctant process but she trusted in Thurinwethil and knew, deep in her heart, that only be letting go would she allow herself to heal.

The viking woman's response was short at first, one that was happy since life has been well. Her second was a response to the earthy woman's question. She answered with ayes, life has been kind to her friend as well! To Krypton, it made her heart leap with joy to know a friend was doing well. Her attention was brought back down from the clouds when the scandinavian woman spoke about a pack. Gyda had formed her own pack after reuniting with a friend?

The earthy woman couldn't be happier for her dear friend. It was nice to know she was going to reclaim the legend of her father, Ragnar. The woman didn't wish to follow his steps exactly, but instead make the legend her own. Her father was worthy to be honored (of what Krypton had perceived from Gyda's description).

With a few obvious wags of her tail, the canadian gave Gyda a happy expression. "Really? I'm so glad to hear that!" She spoke about her pack, Sleeping Dragon yes? It sounded peaceful, the name itself actually. However, Krypton didn't know what the heck a dragon was, a animal of some sort? The viking queen spoke of her location of her pack, north of here. Good! She would be somewhat close and hopefully close enough where it would only take a day or two to trek there and back. "When had you reunited with your friend?"

Gyda had never been one for gossip but occasionally she enjoyed pleasantries and the exchange of idle information, even if said information did not directly concern her. She was a woman of action, favoring the latter above words but it was nice to converse with Krypton all the same. “Earlier this month,” Gyda responded. She had no way to know specifics only that it had not been long ago. Not long after Krypton and her had parted ways and not too long before this meeting. “I had not expected to see her again,” Gyda paused, “but it was a nice surprise.” The Gods had written her fate long ago, this she had always believed. Though a sliver of disappointment lingered in the fact that she was not destined to reclaim Stavanger Bay or even Ravensblood Forest she knew she had to let go of it and trust in her Gods. She knew that Freyja and Frigga would not lead her astray. She was exactly where she was meant to be.

“You are welcome to visit me there,” The Viking Queen invited. “I do not suspect I will have much time to venture outside it's borders once it is official.” Yet, Gyda was not perturbed by this. Not in the slightest. In fact, she looked forward to settling into the familiar role of viking queen once more. She did not see her to-be responsibilities as a limit to her freedom but rather an extension of it. She had been born to rule and it was the position she best fit into.

The dirt-colored woman heard her friend speak, stating that she had met another friend unexpectedly earlier this month. A nice surprise at least, to see a friend when you didn't suspect it. Luckily, it was not at a bad time to meet. The dirt-colored woman reflected a smile, glad that Gyda had met another friend this month besides Krypton. The Canadian wondered if her friend's friend was apart of Gyda's culture or not, maybe the two met just as Gyda and Krypton?

The Viking Queen spoke again, one of Krypton being invited to visit the lands. The burly woman felt gratefulness burn in her chest. She would take up the opportunity to meet Gyda there, it would be not only a morale booster, but a good thing for the two packs. If any wolf were to think about it strategically, the two packs could create strong ties with one another. Maybe even a war alliance? Not even needed in war, but some sort of alliance. Surely both would benefit from it? "I'd would truly enjoy it to come and visit you there. Is it a nice area?"
