Zaria had been feeling quite riled up lately, and she didn't realize why it was happening. She disliked the sight of any female close to Fitz and some of her pack mates really gotten on her nerves. Fitz had been a trooper, he had to deal with Zaria on a daily basis and managed to get out of that unscratched. Now that she was awake she realized that she was feeling different. Her first thought went out to Fitz. A rather intriguing smell was hanging around her. It took Zaria a moment to realize that it was her own scent. Not really thinking of the fact what this nice scent meant she made her way to Fitz. Zaria and Motherhood wasn't really something that would be put together.

Her mind was swimming, not thinking clearly. She had been so angry before and now she kinda realized that it was her heat that was causing such aggression. It was her trying to ensure that her mate would get on with her and not anyone else. The slender female rushed forward, not taking very long to find Fitz. His scent was basically under a speed dial in her brain. She loved his scent even more now, so manly and strong. Oh yes. An uncharacteristic whine came from her throat when she found him. She licked under his chin, wanting him so badly.

FitzDutiful had just been sat by his lake - his favourite place on the mountains when the scent hit him like a tidal wave. It overwhelmed him, overtook him and desire just enveloped him. He turned his head to see Zaria and she liked him under his chin. He returned her affections and growled slightly in a way that made it clear he wanted her.

It was time.

He briefly wondered if she knew what this would mean, if he really understood what they were about to take on but his desire to reproduce took over anything consequences that might occur from what would happen here. He didn't think about what Mason would think, how his son would feel for it didn't matter right now. He always knew he wanted more children and Zaria was amazing.

FitzDutiful avoided saying anything, he didn't want to spoil there setting. There was nothing he could say for words were nothing compared to the physical desire right now. His affections piled into her and he moved ready to take things further if she made it clear she was ready for it.

Zaria was greeted back in return with the same affection she had given Fitz. The girl didn't care much for the scenery, she had other things on her mind and that was to get freaky with her mate. She nipped him impatiently. Zaria was still Zaria and she liked things to get done quick when she commanded something. She knew not to do that too much by Fitz but now the heat was surging through her and she wanted nothing rather than to have her mate.

Zaria even vocalized a long whiney bark, instantly turning over so it was very clear to Fitz that she wanted this. Zaria had never been a mother. She had never been around mothers. She hadn't even been around youngsters, actual babies. Zaria had no clue what she was getting into. Sure she knew by instinct that this could result in pups. How hard could it be? Not for her, she was Zaria, everything she did she did great.

Oh Zaria, you are in for such a shock xD. I think she should seek out a mother wolf to have lessons or something otherwise this might end bad.

It was a go and so he went at it with vigour, her scent enticing him to bring an energy that had never been there before. It was different, knowing that pups would be a result. But they couldn't just do it once, no, this was just the start. It was the beginning of what would be a restless few days - a fever that would envelope both of them for as long as he heat lasted.

The moment was frought with passion, but also almost mechanical for it was something more than passion driving him forward each time. He briefly wondered how many pups it would result in, before such thoughts were driven out and all he could think of was the act that he was performing. The dance they were partaking in.

She's got Fitz! He's been through it once before at least. Also, forgive any typos - silly phone post.

She will need Fitz most definitely. But maybe some mother to mother experience would do her well too xD Mason will probably full-time baby sitter.

Zaria noticed quite a change in her mate. Her scent seemed to hype him up even more. The alpha female was quite aroused by his dominant display. Maybe it was good they appointed Steady as a Beta only days ago. This would mean they could be even more absorbed in her whole cycle. What didn't help was that Zaria had a cut on her side from Steady's teeth. It wasn't a deep wound, just a minor cut but Fitz's paw pressing against it wasn't ideal. The girl wasn't one to complain, since it had been her own fault.

What the woman had also decided was that in exchange to Fitz gift of the bison skin, she would give him offspring in return. She still wasn't sure if she would like pups but she was still convinced it wouldn't be too much work. Zaria started to pant more and more, heat building up with their actions while sporting their winter coats. Even Zaria's winter fur had finally arrived, being thick enough to at leas not be cold all the time. Zaria could not deny that she loved this wilder version.

If FitzDutiful had even suspected that Zaria was doing this for him more than herself he wouldn't have embarked on this endeavour - or so he would have hoped. In truth nothing could have stopped him, not even his son. He would understand when he was older but that scent was just hard wired into their brains to go at it like bunnies. He wouldn't be leaving her side until the scent had vanished for no other male should even be able to get a look at her.

This first session was over quicker than he would have liked. His endurance had been tempered by the amount of enthusiasm he had for the task at hand. As they stayed locked together in the aftermath he leaned on her heavily for a moment, panting a lot and unaware of the weight she was having to bear. He hadn't even registered her cuts yet. That would all come after the two of them were separated and before the next session began.

Zaria closed her eyes briefly. Her legs trembling a bit under the weight of her mate. He was locked to her now, which was an essential part of their mating. Though her spar with Steady also resulted in his front leg being a bit bruised and weaker. She liked to think she was strong but in fact she was not. Her eyes opened, letting out a pant. She was tired too, all this time being angry at the world around her and now this intense mating. It could have been a warning sign for what would happen.

Zaria was not one to give up so she waited till the tie would release and once it did she laid down. She started licking over the bite mark on her front paw, the puncture marks weren't that deep but she was pretty bruised under her fur. Zaria lifted her head after briefly licking her injury. "I love you but you are quite heavy," she pointed out, luckily soon she pushed herself into a sitting position and smiled at her mate. These next few days would be amazing with Fitz so close to her.

Zaria pointed out his weight and he was careful to lift himself off her. As soon as he was able to, he detached and rolled onto his side - panting a little from the adventure. As he lay there he wondered how many puppies it might bring about. Painful memories of burying so many little lives hit him like a tidal wave, but he avoided crying. Instead he withdrew slightly. Could he go through that again? He was aware it would be Zaria's first litter and if that was how first times went... well he might have to.

He pulled back out of his slump before smiling at his lover and promptly falling asleep. It was tiring, such love.

Zaria sat down next to him when Fitz laid down. They would have a very eventful week. Zaria was not really thinking of what was coming in the future, nor that she would be a mother and she would have to deal with pups. Zaria just settled herself close to Fitz. He really wanted the pups and she was curious about it, but she was not aware of what it would take. They would both have to find out.
