@Sesi :)

Blackfeather had gotten more hectic during the winter, to her great surprise. Damien had gone.. somewhere, Cicero had also ventured off, and Kove, well, his presence was overly known to her. But it wasn't just that. Recent changes had thickened the restrictions for even entering Blackfeather, not that she minded. Though it felt like she needed to up her game. Simply being cold was not enough, she needed to be harsh. It hadn't occurred to her that she was already overly harsh, but she she needed to keep up with the demands of the Dark Brotherhood. Taking a break to clear her mind would help. She traveled swiftly to the pond she had visited once before. Then, she had been a different person, a fresher soul, but a darker one. So much hatred, but now she had a home. Many of the stereotypes of Blackfeather were true, but they were a close knit family, with.. a tendency to dislike the outside world. And nobody could blame them really, everyone else were just disgruntled.

Sighing in ecstasy, she lay down on the banks of the frozen pond. Even out away from the pack, from him, she couldn't help but to think of Kove. Damn him, why did he have to choose her? Pushing away the though, she redirected her attention back to the pond before resting her head on her front paws. It was peaceful, just listening to the wind rush by in a useless haste. Her eyelids dropped, breathing rather shallowly as she rested. Yet, there was always something that disturbed her, for Fate never seemed to like her much.

Setting this before her name change.

Soon-to-be-Kova departed Cicero's company in a hurry, cursing herself for being so easily manipulated. She hadn't walked far when a second wolf came into view - this one just as black, laying dead (or at least very still) at the edge of a large, frozen lake.

She should have skirted around the body and taken a different route south, but Sesi was curious to know what a Shadow Wolf felt like to the touch. They looked real enough - the fur on Nemesis' ruff fluttered in the breeze just as any other fur would. Would it be like putting her paw through mist, or water?

The grass crunched underfoot as Sesi crept closer, hunkered down so low that the hairs on her belly skimmed the ground.

Even in her dream like state, she was adaptly aware of the wolf moving behind her. Who it was-- she could no place the scent. Instead, she waited. Perhaps the stranger would simply leave her, since the opportunity to attack had long since past. A shudder of breath released from her mouth as a gust of cold wind swept across the pond, hitting her directly in the face with a gust of snow straight of the frozen surface.

Surely, that would have given her status away, but she wasn't sure. She waited, her senses wide awake for another indication that the wolf would move further. Maybe it was time for another Blackfeather captive. The last one was presumed dead, or had died running away. She wasn't sure. Not that she cared, but leverage was always a good thing.
