All Welcome
Ilya's dragged herself just beyond borders, I figured this was a decent place to be found? (:

It had been three days since the girl had been knocked unconscious. She had, surprisingly, not bleed out, and she could not explain such a thing if you asked her. Perhaps the snow numbed her, and maybe the wounds dried themselves to hold just for the time being. Truthfully she didn't have many body wounds. Her sides and shoulders were torn open just barely, and was what left of her ear to begin with had been ripped off completely. In the long run it would be internal wounds that would need further mending- perhaps also some mental ones as well.

Regardless, she woke. She probably woke due to the fact she was struggling to breath. Sweating and wheezing frantically in her wake, Ilya felt every inch of her body seize in pain. Her first instinct was to howl from the pain, let off some frustration, ya know? But she couldn't. She tried and all that occurred was further pain; and blood. A strange, choking, coughing sound erupted from her throat. She was shocked, to say the least, and tried even more desperately to make more sounds. Each one sounded the same, and sounded horrid at that. There are few words to describe the exact feeling, but to someone who valued speaking so much; this was practically the end of the world. For now, all she could hope was that it would heal- whatever it was.

She moved to get to her feet, and winced at every inch she shifted. With much reluctance, she crawled towards the herbs she had collected, somehow in her haze remembering them. If she'd been in right mind she would've left them, but they were her original goal, and she couldn't leave them. She then turned to home. It wasn't hard to stand, she just needed to keep her weight to her hind legs if she could. Every step sent icy pain through her body, and she went with gritted teeth back towards her home. She had no where else to go, no one else would take her in her state she knew it. So she drug herself towards the hollow, finally collapsing before she reached it's borders. She could no longer stand, her body was failing once again and she could feel a strange feeling she couldn't describe as anything but 'darkness' set in. Ilya attempted to wail out for help, but only gurgled a bit of blood once again from her throat, the choking sound along with it.

The black woman tried to keep her eyes open but they fluttered often, and she couldn't help but pray to Gods she didn't believe in that someone would find her before it was too late.

Haven to the rescue <3 @Mordecai, @Harlyn and @Luke

Haven was going to LCH, and it seemed she'd finally gotten to where she needed to be. Just a little beyond the grove where she once lived, was Lost Creek Hollow. She wagged her tail happily as she limped along through the snowy woods. It must be the right place, for the scent reminded her greatly of her friend Ilya. She was about to let fly a howl for the alphas to call them to her, when she heard a gurgle/howl from somewhere nearby. Whatever made that cry wasn't ok. She ran towards the sound, cautious as ever. Soon she came to the cause of the horrific noise. It was her good friend Ilya!

Ilya?!Haven exclaimed, eyes wide as she looked down at the crippled and bleeding body of her friend. Frantically she kneaded her paws, biting her lip as she bounced around Ilya, trying to come up with something to do. She was no healer, she had no clue what she was supposed to do. She bent down to gently nose Ilya's cheek. She softly whispered to her, Its ok. It's ok! Your gonna be alright. I'ma get us some help ok? An-and your gonna be fine. I'm gonna call your alphas and get some help. She walked away a bit, and let loose a howl. It was pretty much for anyone who could hear, she didn't have time to worry who came, just as long as someone could help. She then turned back to Ilya and laid down beside her, comfort was the only way she knew to help in this situation.

Having learned nothing, Ilya was unaware of her surroundings. Half of this was due to the fact that she was occasionally fading in and out of consciousness, and was not truly in right mind. Haven approached and the black woman had no clue she was even anywhere near her. Haven spoke frantically, but the words were blurred together, it seemed. Maybe it was because her ear had been torn clean off, or maybe just because she was not mentally there. She heard her name, and she was pretty sure her friend was calling for help. Ilya was however aware of who was here, and was a bit confused at why. Wasn't Haven supposed to be with... with... whoever her boyfriend was? Sam? Maybe? She didn't remember. Maybe it didn't matter.

Haven laid beside her, and Ilya only let out a whine that sounded again like a disgusting cracking noise.

sorry about the wait, both of you! dealing with a lot of stuff right now so i apologize in advance if i'm slow at responding. ;__;

When a howl rose up in the crisp air, Mordecai begrudgingly willed himself towards it. Though there had been fewer and fewer of them at the along the downslope of winter, it seemed to him that duty never quite stopped. He hadn't caught sight nor wind of Luke for days and Harlyn was far from ready to rejoin them in keeping their borders secure. While they certainly had those who were able and ready to aid them in maintaining those borders and the caches within their territory, he also found that he disliked the notion that he placed a partial burden on them.

Of course, as he happened upon the borders, or at least near to them, those feelings seemingly vanished as the acrid smell of blood came to him. He wheeled in closer to where it was strongest, at first finding a wolf he did not recognize along the fringes of their claim where even the forest itself began to thin. But there was something more, and the dark shape of something prone did not entirely come into focus readily. Though when it did, he felt the hackles along his back and neck prickle and his posturing turned from something more cautious and dominant to something more along the lines of fearsome.

He charged in, snapping and snarling at the unfamiliar wolf to back off, if wanting nothing else than to defend Ilya.

Take your time!! There is no rush. (: new order Ilya, Haven, Mordecai? I think?

Upon one focused view, the tawny shape that was her alpha crashed into site, snarling at someone or something. Was it her? Surely not- she could not be sure. But she then became aware again of Haven, who had come to her aid first. 'No!!' she tried to cry, 'This is Haven! She is not our enemy!' but her attempts were failures, and she only gagged more blood from her throat, the strange sounds erupting again with each word she tried to pronounce. Her head fell again into the snow, such a string of words had taken a toll on her, and she once again blurred in and out of consciousness.

It was unfair, she could not even communicate with her alpha.

Haven was relieved at first when she saw another wolf coming. But he came in snarling, charging towards her to tell her to back off. Haven yelped in surprise, getting down and tucking her tail submissively. Why did this keep happening to her. Her last encounter at a pack's borders had been with Burke, Seb's dad. And the large male had chased her only a few seconds after they'd been introduced. If definitely wasn't fair. She whimpered slightly, showing the male that he was more dominant. Im here to help! Ilya is my friend I just found her like this I called for you to come! Please don't attack!

She waited for a moment, hoping the male wouldn't strike out at her.

ty for understanding guys!

The wayfarer backed off immediately, her body falling into submission. It was enough for him to put a cap on the worst of his display, though Mordecai still had enough stern posturing to swing around. And perhaps if not for her backpedalling and earnest words his own inclination would have been to drive her further.

Of course, given the sounds that came bubbling from Ilya presently, that inclination was still there. But it was also enough to draw his attention away from her so-called friend, and therein he found reason to put his doubts to rest; the cougar had found another of their fold to tear into. It rattled him through to his core and unwisely he dared not to process whether or not she had been left there or had come crawling back to them.

His solitary gaze rounded back on the tawny wolf. "Then help me move her further in," he decided then and there. If she was really her friend, then he expected no hesitation. But nor would he take the chance that the cougar lingered somewhere in the depths, and momentarily his gaze chose to flick over their surroundings before he went nearer to Ilya's prone form.

They did not have time to waste.

(: <3 also feel free to pp as you see fit and also skip. (:

Mordecai still seemed skeptical, but he agreed. Ilya laid still as he approached, but honestly had no other options. Moving her head too much hurt and her sides ached from the long wounds that were clawed into her side. In a moment though, the pain overwhelmed her senses, and the black woman fell into unconsciousness again.

Haven was relieved when the alpha male seemed to believe her story. For a moment she had thought he wouldn't believe her and chase her out. Lucky for her, she had a trustworthy aura about her. Morse a barked his orders and Haven nodded quickly. Ilya was in serious condition and there was not a second to waste. Ilya smelled of cat, perhaps that was what she'd been attacked by. If that was so, Haven had encountered a cougar before and didn't want to again. She quickly went towards Ilya's back and helped Mordecai nudge her up. She bent down, thinking maybe they could push Ilya onto her back or something. It was a hard task, but doable.

She stuck her nose under the black wolf's rump, nosing her up further. She was having a hard time with it, so she yelled to the alpha male, You get her head and we can carry her together. If he could get her front half on his own shoulders it would be a lot easier. She only hoped this would work, and in enough time too.

Lol I didn't know how they would move her so I improvised xD

Stevie, I know you're super busy so don't feel obligated to reply if you can't; just tagging you for visibility! But on that note, if Stevie can't reply... do you guys want to work something out behind the scenes? @__@

For a moment there was a flash of fire in his eyes as she tried to direct him, but Mordecai knew this was hardly the place to be delving into a dispute. He was requesting a lot of her, putting his own hide onto the line even by trusting her. But he knew well enough to make do with what he had, and right now he had her and the chances of the cougar to linger nearby and watch them scatter and scurry around.

Stepping over Ilya carefully, Mordecai briefly investigated her scruff before grabbing a hold of it. Together, they were able to begin to move her gently. It was no doubt uncomfortable for Ilya and in a way he was thankful that she was not aware to the way they were moving her. She was light enough to carry and as they made their way deeper into the woodland he found it easier to pull her along.

Once he felt they were sufficiently within their claim, he let up on his hold of Ilya with his sides heaving. Even if she had been light, she wasn't like his children that he could easily cart and direct around if needed; the movement and general pathing through terrain they could not take her over had tired him. But adrenaline still rode high and fueled him, enough that he was able to raise his head and call for @Harlyn.
