All Welcome
@Atari Silver

Mara howled loud, calling for her new friend, Atari, to join her on a hunting expedition. The two of them seemed to be more alike than just appearance, but also ambitions. She was surprised they hadn't been confused as related yet. She assumed they would only be hunting something small, along the lines of birds or squirrels, even though she knew the two of them were more capable in the field. She was excited for this, she'd never hunted with another wolf before. Growing unusually impatient, she let out a short, but loud, bark.

She began to pace back and forth, wondering how successful the two of them would be, which was almost guaranteed that they'd gain something out of the hunt. But Mara had more aspirations than just to become a huntress, but also a caregiver. Yet, it seemed many other wolves wanted to be that too. Perhaps she'd go to another trade.

If Mara ever does want to peruse caregiver, Atari can be her guinea pig XD

Atari was asleep when a loud howl awoke her from her slumber, the howl was unfamiliar but it was calling the females name. The girl slowly got up, stretching in the process and as she started to walk she felt her knees pop. Four little pops with each leg that moved. I'm getting to old for this, whatever this is, she joked. Atari was only two, she was still very young but she felt old, or at least older than she was. Maybe it was because she had just woke up from good sleep or maybe she was getting super old very quickly, either way she felt old.

Despite getting good sleep it was best for Atari to wake up and get around, to much sleep and she'd be up all night. The female trotted off towards the howl. A couple of seconds later a bark echoed through Atari's ears, who ever this wolf might be they were very inpatient. It wasn't long before the female arrived to the source of the call and it was none other than Mara. "Hey Mara! You called?"It was hard for Atari to picture Mara as inpatient but maybe she needed something urgently.

It was unusual for Mara to be impatient, she was usually calm and collected, but her excitment got the best of her for the time being. When Atari did show up, she had to retrain herself from jumping with joy. "I did, indeed." She confirmed. "I was hoping you'd join me for a hunt." Mara exclaimed, walking up a bit closer to Atari. It seemed the longer she spent time with the she-wolf, the more alike they seemed. The biggest difference she found was their  age, Atari being a year older than her.

This was both of their first attempts to become huntresses, at least as she knows. She was planning to teach Steady to fish soon, and perhaps Atari had done something, but either way it was another step closer for both of them.

Mara had called Atari for a hunt "A hunt you say? Sure I'll tag along" the female says with a smile. One more step towards the hunter trade. Maybe the two could make a race out of who gets their hunter trade first and who ever wins gets bragging rights. Or get to lead all the packs hunts. Though this was a good idea Atari didn't share it, she wouldn't place a bet she thought she couldn't win. "We hunting anything in particular?" the female was up for anything, it didn't matter if it was the most impossible animal to kill she'd make it possible. Hunting always made Atari excited, it wasn't the fact that she got to kill something it was just it made her feel important, because she'd be bringing food back to the wolves or wolf she was caring for. It made her feel useful as well, she didn't like to be idle for to long.

Atari waited for Mara's lead when she was ready to go. She'd let the look-alike lead despite her ranking being lower than Atari's. Rank didn't matter much to the female but it did sometimes but now wasn't that time. It probably never will be, unless she becomes alpha or beta, or a even higher rank than she was. Though it would be a while before she ranked up any higher than she was, loyalty was key to rising through the ranks. At least that's what Atari thought but maybe it was something else, something that comes with age.

When Atari announced she would join, Mara wagged her tail in delight. She knew both of them would benefit from this, regardless of the type of meal they'd be hunting. It seems the younger female was unprepared for what exactly they were hunting, but she knew she was capable of most- if not all. "What are you most comfortable hunting?" she questioned, not caring which prey the older girl chose.

Sorry for the short response, and long wait

Its all good :) Short post as well sorry not very creative when im tired lol

Mara didn't have anything in mind to hunt and the choice was left up to Atari. "What ever you can track." The female smiled, Mara called the hunt and so she'd be leading it as well. It'd be good for the look-alike to practice her tracking skills, practice never hurts but Atari would help out. Her tracking skills weren't perfect either. "Tell me when you are ready." Atari already knew what Mara was going to say but it was always good to make sure.
