@Sen ;)

Thatch was going all over the place. He didn't really know what to do with himself honestly, traveling here and there. His mission was being interrupted by his failure at finding a home and mentor. He would have to get to the finale sometime, why couldn't it just be now? He took out his frustration on a stump, knowing on it angrily. After a little while of teenage venting, Thatch continued on his quest again, his quest to no where really.

Well then he found himself in the middle of a wetland, surrounded by mud and lichen filled trees. Its still winter, what's with all this mess? He growled to himself, snapping anxiously at a vine that flopped down in his face. Just remember Thatcher, you have a mission. You'll get there, just keep smiling. Why? Because your the boss. He thought, picking up his withering spirits as he tromped through the humid forest.

Forgive any weirdness, posting from phone lmao

There was no real reason as to why she'd ended up looping back around after her visit to the river. Boredom, perhaps, but aside from that she couldn't think of a proper excuse. Her first passage through hadn't been all that eventful, really- actually, that wasn't quite true. She'd manage to get a recruit for the sanctuary whilst passing through, so maybe it was that thought that had led her to investigate it once more. Whatever the case, it wasn't overly important. All that mattered was that she was there, and wasn't currently too happy about her location. The plains had been tolerable, but the marsh? She just couldn't stand it. The mud mucked up her underside, every step seeming to be met with a sickening squelch. She'd only managed to get a short ways in before turning around and trekking back in the direction from which she'd come. Every second that ticked by seemed to make the scowl on her face deepen, making it a wonder it didn't stick that way.

Sen had been intent on getting out of there as soon as possible, but found herself slowing instead of quickening. Up ahead she could see the outline of a wolf, which caused a sigh to slither past her lips and then her direction to change. While her first instinct was to get the hell outta that awful place, she couldn't pass up the opportunity to try for another recruit. Well, maybe try for another recruit. First and foremost there came selfish thoughts, which would most likely be the ones she'd follow. Thus the scowl was forced off her face, expression replaced by false interest, and she'd offered a sharp chuff to alert the other of her approach. Whether or not he'd turn didn't quite matter, she'd still end up calling out to him. "Hey you! Know a shortcut outta this place?"

No your post is fine, half of my posts are quick fast phone posts this one so don't worry about it at all <3

Thatch's head turned quickly at the sharp chuff. Someone was following him and he hadn't even know it! He was losing his touch. Or maybe it was just this dumb marsh screwing with his senses. She, like him, seemed pretty keen on getting out of this dumb place. He was also incredibly bored, so he was more than glad to have her company. He stopped and waited for her to catch up with him before replying. If I knew a shortcut out, you would still be alone. His comment may have sounded rude, but frankly that was just his attitude.

Im Thatcher by the way. The ruddy colored male gave her a crooked grin, still keeping a slight distance from her. The female didn't seem very friendly, so he was ready to fight to kill if she made any false moves. He may have seemed like he was off guard, but he was always ready. He'd learned to stay alert from his father, or at least from when his father felt like hurting him. He'd learned to run.

March 24th; ending added.

The comment made was undoubtedly blunt, thought any rude undertones had been ignored. She'd naught the time to deal with some unsavoury expressions, offering her focus solely to the task of getting the hell out of there. In some places, she could already feel the mud beginning to dry, causing her skin to crawl and her mind to be filled with... colourful thoughts. Through all of the silent swears clouding her mind, there was a single notion that stood out above all else. It was a curious idea, but the plan not something that was foreign to her. There were times prior in which she'd played the very same con, each of which being far more amusing than the last. Inwardly, she grinned, but on the outside her expression remained neutral. Rather than denying herself the opportunity to obtain some assistance, the woman lessened the space between them further, falling into step near to the male's left flank.

When a name was given, she tucked it away so as not to forget it, before then contemplating whether or not she would give her own. There was a moment in which she'd thought of a false name to give, before dismissing the idea entirely and settling for her own given name. In truth, it didn't matter, she just wasn't up to risking any more than necessary. "Sen," the serpentine wolf had returned, eyeing him for a brief moment before settling her gaze on the path ahead. There was a silence that had slowly descended upon them, but the moment was shattered soon after by Sen's voice. "I have a proposition to make for you," she'd stated, picking up her pace slightly so that she could move out in front of the male. Her goal was to get him to stop walking, to allow her the opportunity to use whatever charms on him that she could act out.

"Both of us are looking to find a way out of here," she began, stating the obvious. As the continued, however, her movements became slowed, circling him with a sultry gaze. "If you can lead me out of this place within the next five to ten minutes, I can promise you a grand reward." By the time she'd finished speaking, the Gorgon had reached his right side. It was there she'd moved her muzzle nearer to the side of his face, the gesture far from threatening, but quite the gamble nevertheless. As was the way of her life, the woman thought only of herself and that which she strived to obtain. That being said, there would most definitely be no prize waiting for dear Thatcher outside of the marsh, just the sight of her silhouette on the horizon.

Rather than taking her up on the offer made, the male had chosen to take another route. He'd left on his own, leaving her there to navigate the marsh by herself. It was a bothersome thing, really, and she was made annoyed by the fact that he'd denied her proposal. Nevertheless, Sen pressed onward through the muck, refusing to stop until she had succeeded in reaching dry, sturdy ground once more.
