Idk, maybe @The Wolf or @Taggarik

The doberman wolf mix stood in absolute silence, her brindle pelt standing out against the melting snow. Her bi-color red and silver eyes  grazed the land. Her dark face made her look eerie as she stood like a mountain. Tall, still, solemn, yet so much going on inside. Her bobbed tail flicked, the only thing that proved she was not a dummy or statue. She was 300 meters from the border, and had been lurking for a few days. She still wasn't sure if she would be making the right choice if she decided to join, so she did not howl for wolves, but let them come on their own accords.

Flora's thoughts chased each other like pups playing a game of tag. Once was tagged, the other returned the favor. Back and forth, back and forth, back and forth, back and...on and on. She sat, still massive in stature. Her tall figure cast shadows over the ground. A single purple wildflower had sprung up. She stared at it intently. As if she were a gentle giant, she bent down and her nose lightly grazed the flower. With a blink, the female had settled down next to the flower and laid her head on her paws. A purple wildflower, her lucky sign. Maybe it was time...

His gray eyes fell upon an odd form in the distance, neither wolf nor coyote. The black wolf was not sure what it was, and guessed it may be another wolfdog if only because of the other one that had come upon his borders recently. But since the creature was so far from his marks and did not appear to be looking for anyone to speak to, the ridge leader held his position atop a small rock and quietly observed.

Flora smelled the male long before he approached, and raised her head. He was large and black, a good specimen, but reminded her of the dark husky-wolf hybrid who had torn open her belly, nearly killing her. She rose to her feet and gazed upon him, her eyes narrowed and firm. Her face was that of a poker player, deathly emotionless. She padded a few yards in, closing some distance, but not much. Her ears flicked and she chuffed to him, not showing aggression or greeting. Just a bland chuff. Her breath puffed in front of her, as it was icy cold.
Again, she closed some distance, only 100 meters from the border now. Ughh...This would be hard.

From this distance, the black wolf could not hear the chuff, nor see that the hybrid narrowed its eyes on him. He watched as it moved closer, yet still, remained far enough away from the borders that he had no reason to believe it was actually interested in joining, and his interest in watching was waning quickly. He did not care if others passed by the ridge through the neutral territories, and would return to his business soon.

With a final puff, the female approached the borders closely, only 20 ft away now. She raised her head and looked on at the black male, her tawny and black pelt whisking slightly in the cool winds. She chuffed louder now, attempting to catch his attention. Her multi-colored eyes waxed and waned, squinting to decipher his mood, obviously bored. With a small shake of her muzzle she called. It was time she joined a hierarchy.

The black wolf's lips twitched in irritation. He could discern now, by scent and sight, that this was another wolfdog, but one that lacked the etiquette that the other had showed, as it drew near with a raised head and a direct look. "What do you want?" He asked coldly, his gray eyes seeking to bore directly into the other's as he arched his tail and lifted his muzzle.

Flora's gaze hardened. "I came to join, but I believe I've had a change of heart..." She hissed, stalking away with bristled pelt. How rude! he should be used to waiting, weren't alphas supposed to be patient. Her lip curled and she growled softly, sprinting off. She would find a different haven, one with alphas who had some respect. Yeesh!
sorry, maybe this isn't for this character! Heheh

Taggarik snorted as the half breed fled. He wouldn't have even entertained the thought of accepting it, and could not be bothered to chase it for the insolent growl. So he turned and returned home.
