Water and mud clung to his pelt and he froze in the process; no manner of shaking off could get him completely dry, apparently. And as the man wandered back towards his home, he found himself wondering about what had happened. It had been a dream, but somehow it had been more powerful than that. Taking his mind places and somehow making his body move as well; he had been tired - was still tired. All manner of exhaustion plagued him. From the ache in his muscles to the confusion within his mind. As he lurched across the border and in to the heart of the territory, the man slumped to his haunches, and then down all the way.
His body lay prone against the earth as if to listen to it, but he was not. There wasn't a single thought within his mind - Njal emptied it and rested, his figure a lump of grey rock amongst a patch of snow-free grass. His skin shivered and, as he roused himself again moments later, he let out an uncontrolled yawn. He was on his feet again and seeking out Tuwawi, for in this early morning he assumed she would be in the den - however, the half-drowned man found himself wandering in other directions, aimless and unnerved.
