Joining
Feathering grass prickled the pads of Wanda's paws as she approached the border inquisitively, a crow flew overhead above, she studied it's flight pattern, watching as it would take one flap of it's wings to glide onwards until needing to maintain flight one again. She wondered what it would be like to fly.
Sensing she was at the borders, she let out a howl, calling any potential members or even the alpha. She hadn't howled in a while, so it was high and eerie, sound more like a feline's scream. Wanda then padded back and forth, pacing. Her mind was racing, many thoughts swirled through her mind, this pack seemed perfect for her, she was anticipating their opinion on her status of mind.

The howl that struck through the calm eeriness of the darkened forest was one that sparked her attention. All was calm after the storm, apparently, in her own personal experiences. The ordeal of heat, and truth had not fazed from her mind entirely, however, and haunted her from the minute she rose from her mate's sleeping form to dusk where she retired for the night. She had not taken Burke's advice. There was no need to burden anyone with something as silly. She went along like nothing had happened, as any sane wolf would do. But things had indeed been slow, and quite frankly boring after so many events taken place. Someone to harass was just what she needed.

Her dark figure stepped from the shadows of blackfeather woods. Nothing of her stance showed an iota of weakness, but a demand of submission, if the stranger wanted to get anywhere within their pack. Her cold nature was a needy requirement of the job she did. No weak hearted straggler or leech would survive within their borders, and if they could not take her attitude, they were not meant to be one with the dark pack, nevertheless the Dark Brotherhood. "This is Blackfeather Woods. What do you want?" Her tone was nothing but malicious, a finely veiled threat behind her eyes and tone. She would not bother summoning Burke if she stranger had nothing to offer, and the interrogation would first go by her. The female was quite small, and nothing about her suggested she was a dark enough soul to be considered for the brotherhood. Her eyes narrowed, if this was another dud, it would not escape the territory with grace.

Viewing the dark female up and down, she sensed her venomous tone and stature,
Good, she thought. She didn't want some lovey dovey all smiles wolf who'd welcome her dark soul with a forced grin.
'Hello there! Don't you look like a violent one? In case you're wondering, I'm here to apply to join, The Dark Brotherhood it's called?'
Wanda's voice was upbeat and was grinning throughout her speech, her tone very unsettling.
'I feel like I might be a useful outlet in your pack, I have a skill I feel would be of value in a pack like yours. Any Wolf knows how to hunt, But how many wolves can pass through the shadows without a single decibel being made, sneaking through the fallen leaves but not a crinkle or rustle being made. '
Wanda explained her skill slowly, emphasizing each syllable with a poisonous grin. She would not hesitate to demonstrate if asked.

As the stranger spoke, she grew intensely worried to a point that it became anger. There was absolutely no sign of submission, which was purely suicidal. The tone of the stranger was quite frankly rude, how dare she comment, but the dismission of her rank. How dare it?! She would not bother wasting the Alpha's time with this one, it was clear she had no manners. But what what made her snap was the mention of the Dark Brotherhood's true name. It was a heavily guarded secret, that only member knew of the cult's existence. How this one knew, she had no idea but it was safe to assume that she was a spy. "How do you know of the Brotherhood? It's existence is a secret," She snarled demanding to know, advancing slowly as her hackles raised. It was practically forbidden for members to mention the cult to anyone outside of the pack, so everything about this female screamed dangerous.

When the female described having the skills of a spy, that was it. A rabid snarl and piercing eyes warned the female before she attacked. "You must be a spy, then. And intruders don't leave without a scar," Her growl was feral, as was her tone, but gave merely a second for the stranger to explain before she actually attacked. And she would do so without hesitation. The girl held a mischievous grin, one that she did not like. Nothing could explain that this was a spy, but who from, she would do anything to find out.

Realising the fuming aggression, she immediately bowed in submission, showing that would not attack, even though she was felt threatened.
'I am no spy, I thought it merely a rumour throughout Teekon. I have been lone wolf all my life, there is no need to spy, when I have no-one to spy for. I have no idea of what it even means.'
She stayed stationery in position, not wanting to provoke further.
' I apologise if I may seem rude or distasteful, Psychosis seems to do that to people. I wouldn't dream of attacking you ma'am, I can see you are of high status, I know I would be killed on the spot if I tried anything, so fear not on that attribute. '
This female's tone made her feel slightly unease, she wanted to join, not die that day. She hoped that she would reasonable.

She was still skeptical of the girl's motives, or reason to be at their borders. It was a normal feeling when anyone approached their borders at all, "You did not answer my question," She repeated, her patience thinning by the millisecond. There was no spot among them for discreet strangers who showed no physical value to their cult. Psychosis? All the more reason not to let her in. While yes, they had their own abnormalities within their walls, she did not know the extent of her condition and could not trust her not to bounce off the walls one day.

"Give me a better reason not to kill you, why I should waste a spot in our ranks on a suspicious girl who talks of the art of spying perfectly but then claims to not know what it means. I hear nothing but lies from you," There had been a drastic change of attitude from the girl. Actually, it seemed almost two faced. "Give me a better reason, or leave," She was done wasting her time with such a conspicuous person and their deceptive answers.

Wanda could help but find the woman before very irritating, constant spits of anger and a foul tongue did not agree with Wanda's mind. She had no idea that the entire packs existence was a secret so the fact worried her.
'I have met many along the path of my journey, many with their own tales to tell, I cannot remember every minute detail, but I heard of your existence upon my travels. As said before, you obviously see that I have little manners, or the etiquette of other wolves, wouldn't wolf from a enemy pack know of such things? I don't, which proves I am no spy and I am not telling fibs. I wish to join a pack which isn't all daisies and foraging, and this pack seems very interesting.'
Keeping her stance, Wanda did not dare look her in the eyes, the one thing she knew about etiquette. Hoping the nonsense of spies and such would end soon she continued to plea her case

'I picked up on unknown scents of many when I arrived and assumed this was the border of your pack, I've become lonely these past years and found upon myself to settle with a pack, this seemed like the perfect option. I love what you've done with the place. '
Once again a crow perched against a rotten tree nearby, feather ruffled and eyes sunken, it gave her hope.
'The true reason I came here though, is quite strange. It may just be yet another symptom of psychosis, but it seems different. I've had visions. Visions which have led me here. The same chant is recited through my skull every time I sleep, a poem maybe? I hoped this pack would give me answers of what they mean. Does this anything to you? '
A shiver ran down her spine as she spoke, each syllable tearing at her body like a knife slicing through mud. Head dizzy and blurred sight, she uttered the words of death.

'Sweet mother,
sweet Mother,
Send your child onto me,
for the sins of unworthy
must be baptised in blood and fear. '

What the fuck. Everything seemed to turn bat shit crazy as the girl went on and on, finally, reciting some poem that she probably just made up on the spot. Well, they didn't need another nut. "Yeah, a poem? Not good enough," It was simple, she had no concrete evidence that she was in any way useful besides having an affinity for poetry and a rude attitude. "You should try the next pack down, Moonlit Hills. They're excellent at talking shit and having no use whatsoever. They also have a poetry club, you'd fit right in," She smiled, faux of course. It might have been rude, she didn't care. She just wanted the crazy off her grass before she set in on fire. "Bye now!" She cheered, waiting for the girl to escort herself out. She was quite proud of herself, her acting skills were phenomenal, as far as she could tell.

She wondered if Burke often had to deal with odd bods and the like so often as she did, even when he had no Beta. Running a pack was hard, she found, even as the job was supposed to get easier. No luck apparently. Just a girl who's main reason for coming near them was to chase a voice in her head. Like that would serve them well.
sorry this couldn't work! you're welcome to try again in the future :)
