Lover's Grove @Aaron @Faramir

This was it. She could go. But, maybe it was better if she took her mate with her. Mate. Maja blinked, the thought so real. The red wolf had a mate, a legit mate. Someone to frick frack with (hopefully not anytime soon).

Obviously, it was always family first, so she was going, with or without him. Without a second thought (Maja either overthought things or didn't think about them at all), she threw her head back, calling for Aaron and Faramir.

She took a deep breath, then licked her lips. The she-wolf would have to explain some stuff, too.

Aaron arrived when called, there was no reason to dilly-dally, he knew what this was about. Maja was leaving to visit her brother, an Audin in a pack in a Caldera- he forgot where she said it was located, however. He stood before the woman, his tail waving behind him and his blue eyes studying her for a handful of seconds. "Will you be leaving?" he asked, then looking to her paws. She had not supplies at her feet, which made sense. She was only going to visit, she was not going to help or heal. His gaze raised again, and his ears pivoting to the side as he listened for Faramir, who he knew had been called as well. The man's lips twitched into a gentle smile, pleased that Maja was taking her newly pronounced mate into consideration on her trip.

Faramir immediately went to his mate's calling, wondering what she was doing calling both Aaron and himself. The prospect of even having a mate was almost surreal to him, now having another to call his own and get to know. It was nearly terrifying to have that responsibility, but he was determined to try.

He walked into the scene, happy to see Maja, throwing a smile at both present. He came by her side, nudging her to let her know he was there.

Once the two males had arrived, Faramir by her side, she spoke. "I will be leaving," she assured, "This trip should take a day or two, three at most." Now, as she thought back to when she arrived at this forest, she knew that it was over a mountain, or to the side. Aware that she would have to pass a pack of a name she didn't know, and then she would arrive at the caldera.

Finally, she would speak to her brother.

Suddenly, she remembered to ask if it were possible her mate could come with her. Not that she was scared, but it would be safer. "So, um, Faramir," Maja began, "Is it possible you can come with me; to see my brother?" she asked. Her ears twitched, eager to hear his response.

The man nodded. "I bid you farewell then, and safe travels," he said. It was not a lengthy response, but he did not have much time to spare for this conversation. He assumed she'd be fast- as she mentioned- and therefore had no problems with the situation. It was until she requested Faramir come that he stopped from leaving the scene. He had no troubles with his Beta accompanying her, but he was curious to see how the man would respond. He waited patiently, studying the expression of Faramir.

Faramir was surprised to hear she would be going away for a short while, and even more so when it was offered to him the possibility of going with her. "Yeah, I'd love to!" he said, tail wagging in excitement and smile growing on his face, before glancing briefly at Aaron. "As long as it's fine with you, right?" he spoke to Aaron. He didn't expect to be needed much around here, so really, he'd be going anyway. The idea of traveling and getting to know his new mated was indeed invigorating.

The only down side to this was that Aaron wouldn't have either of his Betas for a couple of days. Currently, Faramir had happily accepted her offer, which was good. And Aaron was okay with it all. So she would go.

Oh my god, she would go.

Maja could finally see her brother. Aduin was only a day away. She could almost hear his voice. The red wolf stayed silent as the two males talked (which was quite out of character, as Maja wasn't very polite at times).

Although pleased that their mateship was being taken so seriously, Aaron became slightly on edge about the whole situation. Both of his betas would be gone, even if it was for a few days. The pack would be more vulnerable without them -- especially Faramir, who he valued among the highest of his ranks. But he was generous and understanding, and would make sacrifices for the wellbeings of his packmates. If they both wanted to go, he would just be more on guard. A few extra border patrols never hurt anyone. The man dipped his head, smiling. "Of course you may go," he replied, "I suggest you both eat something before you leave," he added, tail waving highly behind him.

Faramir grinned happily, excited to be going on an adventure with his new wife. Wife? God, that sounded weird. But nevertheless, he returned to the conversation after his brief little intermission.  He thanked Aaron and dipped his head in return, turning to Maja with a wagging tail. "So? Shall we be off?" he asked, too blissfully happy to question what direction to take.

A grateful smile towards them both; nodding at his question. "Lets go," she assured. Aware of the closest direction towards the borders, she set off. But when passing her alpha, she softly whispered a "thank you."

Leading the way, she was getting closer and closer to her brother. She could feel it in bones.

"Good luck-- remember our deal," he called after them, specifically to Maja. He hoped she'd remember to speak with the leaders of this caldera, he could use some allies-- or neutral packs if anything. He just needed to make his pack known. Aaron waited until they were out of sight, swallowed by the dark trees, before he turned to leave. His pelt prickled as realization finally took complete hold of him. He'd been wary throughout their conversation, but now it was reality. Both of his beta's were gone for a few days-- he needed to be more on guard.
