All Welcome
All welcome! Lucani has the borders of Saltwinter on her right, and Seadog Sanctuary on her left~

Being a hopeless navigator by nature, Lucani was intent upon keeping the sea in sight now that she'd spotted it. There it was, huge and navy beyond the distant cliffs and dark green woodland. Given that she'd never seen the sea before, her first sighting of it had been quite the event, but it was still only a smear in the distance. She was getting closer. First, however, the weakened traveller had to set a course that avoided the claimed territories she could smell nearby. The meadow was open, the sun was bright, and her pace was slow — the tall grey female was as nonthreatening as was possible to be, but did not push it by walking any closer to either pack. But she mused as she went, wondering at the possibility that there may be unsought answers either side of her.

Depp was making his way towards the sea himself, finding it a calming scenery. In his spare time he would travel out towards the ocean for memories and what not. He hadn't had much time to do so lately, keeping a sharp eye on Sen lately, knowing she could easily run off and kill whatever pups were on their way. It was obvious of the wolf's pregnancy now and he would no anything in his power to keep his kids alive. Before he could dwell on the subject any further an unfamiliar scent filled his nose, he wasn't worried that it was too close to Seadog, he truly didn't mind whoever came by. The dark male made his way towards the smell, and soon enough the figure of another played out in the distance. He tilted his head in curiosity, and began to close whatever space was between them. "Hello there,"

Hi Hannah!

Despite her ever-present desire for company — wolves she could learn about and decipher — she was slightly regretful when she sensed an oncoming presence. For she was so close to multiple claimed territories right now (the only way she could progress eastwards with her eyes on the sea) that anyone from any pack had a reasonable right to physically force her on her way. And she could only go so fast. But the dapper fellow who approached looked amiable enough, and she nodded. Good afternoon. She paused, faintly curious by his slightly addled way of moving. Are you okay, young sir...?

Hola Ells!
Sir
, he'd never think himself of such a title. Mostly because people took one look at him and could tell he wasn't one of manners or "uptightness" it was strange for her to call him that, but definitely not looked down on. She then moved on to asking if her was well. The pirate furrowed his brow, and looked down at himself for a moment to spot any blood stains, and gave a second thought if he were drunk or not. When he concluded that he was not wounded, nor intoxicated, he looked down at the fellow wolf. "Why do you ask?"

Oh well this was a bit awkward. Lucani didn't want to offend the chap, but nor did she want to backtrack, just in case there was something wrong with him. He looked perfectly healthy, with a glossy coat and a bright way of talking, but his swagger was somewhat dizzying. Well... look at your pawprints, she decided to illustrate her point rather than explain it, and nodded in the direction he'd come from. The grass was muddy from rainwater the night before, and the male's pawprints were not exactly in a perfect straight line. Being a follower of logic and medicine, Lucani's first conclusion wasn't that this was simply the way he walked.

He turned around to see his uneven paw prints against the muddy land, and turned back to the girl with a look of confusion. "That is just simply my way of walking," Perhaps his strange pace of swagger was a sign of sickness or an unhealthy abundance. Depp shrugged once, before walked around the fae a bit, as if showing off his strange allegro walk. "Do you think otherwise?" he questioned, tilting his head to the side.

Lucani watched the male carefully as he gave a light parade, and considered the answer. Her medical opinion was null and void when he didn't know she was a healer, but she cared for the well-being of everyone — and if he'd walked around his whole life with this rather charming swagger then perhaps he wasn't aware that something else was up. If you don't mind a stranger asking, she said first, to be courteous, do you suffer from any dizziness, disorientation, dulled hearing?

He paused, making his modeling walk end, and gave the girl a confused look, before his eyes ventured off a bit concerningly. "Occasionally...why do you ask?" Even if something were wrong with him, he'd only be worried for a moment before swaggering back into life with an upbeat attitude. Of course, he didn't think this may be fatal and the outcome of his pups be rather...dreary.

Ah, interesting. Lucani gave a curious swish of her tail. I'm a travelling healer, she explained first off. My name's Lucani. And if you live near here, close to the sea, I wonder if there's a chance you have water in your ears. Perhaps the most obvious theory in her opinion. It would explain the walk, and the occasional dizziness.

He leaned forward, "Depp," before reverting back to his usual position. "I've lived by water most my life," He explained, wanting to push away the thought that the sea could have caused him some form of illness– then again, Depp preferred his "fancy" walk and strange gestures, he found this often to be just one of his many ways to be unique, but alas it could possibly not.

Depp? It was a good, quick name that suited him well. Nice to meet you, Depp. Do you want me to help you dislodge any water that might be in your ears? But she paused and added: but I warn you, it probably won't change the way you walk and so on, as that's probably habit by now. But it will ease up any dizziness or fogginess you've been getting.

He took the thought into consideration, and was rather glad he wouldn't lose his strange walk finding it a good trait of his–even if it wasn't good for him. Neither was alchohal, but he drank it anyway. "Might as well," he replied with a shrug of the shoulders. He found it rather strange that a wolf would be kind enough to aid a stranger in such a unimportant occasion, but glad all the same.

Thank you, she said, perhaps unexpectedly, and then explained herself: it's nice to feel useful. Her final few days at Sleeping Dragon had been torturous — not because she'd been as weak as a babe, but because she hadn't been able to go out and aid her pack.

Stretch out like this, she instructed gently, and made a pose as if to stretch and yawn, her front legs outstretched, then tip your head to the side and forwards like this, as if you have your head stuck between two branches and are trying to get it out. She demonstrated. Then, the moment you feel something dislodge that feels like loose earwax, give your head a shake as if you're drying your fur thoroughly.

He did as instructed, hesitating with every move. It wasn't that he didn't trust her, he just was unsure if this would work at all—he'd been by the sea his whole life and yet to clean his ears of water. Maybe it was to stay there forever because his lack of care.

He paused, waiting for what she described to happen, there was silence for a moment, and then a strange feeling in his ear arose, he shook his head quickly. His eyes widened when realizing his hearing seemed to improve, and he gazed upon his doctor. "Well, damn..." Depp paused, unsure how to thank you. "Thank you, ma'am." He bowed his head in a form of thanks.

Thought I'd better fade this one out!

Lucani smiled, and felt a little wave of something like satisfaction. This dark seadog was a charming type, and the healer was glad to have been of service. Helping others in this way, after all, was precisely what she liked doing. My name's Lucani, she introduced herself at last, wishing to put a name to his face before they parted ways.

Only once pleasantries had passed (Lucani did like pleasantries) did she bid her farewell and continue on her long journey, feeling glad that she had met the friendly pirate.
