Mara had decided to leave Silvertip, they were a loving family but she didn't feel at home there. So, she traveled rather far to another pack, though unaware what their name may be, she hoped this would be able to provide whatever home she was looking for. Making sure not to cross the border, the young wolf lifted her muzzle in the air and howled out for the leaders of this land.

The first one to greet Mara was not the Alpha, or even a Beta. He was the Epsilon, but there was no way for her to know that, or he to know her at all. So Ashmedai approached with his ears up and his tail high, displaying his position as a pack wolf, higher in dominance than a lone wolf like her. You were in that position a while ago, his conscience chided him, submitting to your Alpha. Show some kindness. But it was not to be, however, as instinct won over Ashmedai's brain, and the older male would continue his stance until a leader arrived.

"Name and intention," he spoke, voice bordering on hard, As a pack wolf, the man had a duty to his packmates and to himself. The girl smelled of many more wolves - different wolves, he realised, and Ashmedai knew at once that she must have come from another pack - there was no other explanation. But he kept it to himself, face neutral and steel blue eyes nothing more than the cold metal they resembled.

Fox is gonna hang back and watch for now. ;)

A howl lured Fox away from the den. Peregrine was (again) broken, but it looked as though it would eventually heal. How he managed to break it still didn't make any sense to her, and she had given up trying to figure it out.

It seemed as though somebody else had beaten her to the punch, so Fox stayed back, out of the way, and observed from a perch on the mountain that Redhawk wolves called home. The two were conversing, at least to some degree, and Fox's ear twitched. She was out of hearing range, but body language tended to speak louder than words ever could.
