If you have time! if not, I'll swap it to AW

The dark male moved through the pack, curiously sniffing at the patches of grass as they had come up. There was a lot going on in the packlands lately, between Tambourine getting more active and outgoing and the other wolves coming in he had his hands full it seemed. Stark licked his lips, heading back towards the Crook to see if he couldn't find @Captain and see how she was settling in. There was still the uncertainty there, but, the male was at least coming to terms with her presence and he was trying to get over his feelings. It wasn't right to wish that Cap was out there in the wilds just for the sake of having Banner present.

And yet, he still did.

The dark male's face scrunched for a moment at the thought, chastising himself for the errant idea. He'd have to get out it. He would have to stop.

Captain's sandy-blonde tail wagged sluggishly behind her as the lithe female spotted her brother. Adept though she was in greetings, she found that it had always been a tentative ordeal for her when it came to Stark. Thus, as she neared the dark wolf, she took on the stance of a concerned sibling. Her steel blue gaze watched him for any signs of future aspersions, hoping to avoid any volleys of vituperation for the time being. Sure, it wasn't at all in his nature, but she'd known many wolves who lashed out when irritated and it was clear that Banner's absence was definitely leaving an impression upon Stark. Sooner or later it would all catch up to him, and so Captain simply could not ratify when it would all add up and how. Not until she'd exchanged the first few words; transmitted perception of the breadth of his mood and, if possible, how to breach that barrier.

She didn't say anything, as words were a futile resort in times when silence explored far beyond the confinements of sound. Anyhow, it was always strategic to wait. Often, Captain would lead others into conversations that were both monotonous and inadvertently dull due to her misjudgment for the occasion. Now was no exception - it was her turn to listen and nod. It was her turn to understand that she plainly did not understand.

Maybe he was just too caught up on where their sister was, of how she was doing. He didn't worry over their father, he didn't consider anyone else from his past save for the two males he'd gotten close with - instead he was thinking of Banner, of whatever might be lurking out there to bother her. Banner was strong. She was resilient. She'd make it just fine.

Of course, ask and ye shall receive, and Captain was approaching him before the male had a chance to think of anything else. "Hey," He said a bit glumly. "Y'settled alright?" It had been a bit since he'd seen her in anything more than passing, considering he had been busy with his own tasks and Captain was surely making herself comfortable with the rest of the pack.
