@Vassago @Pyro @Burke Present-dated! The pups can now sort of see and sort of walkish standish thingy idk XD

How long had she been stuck in here now? A week? two, maybe? To be honest, she had lost track of time. She only cared to move when she was thirsty, or when the kids were being bullies to each other (mainly little Vassago). The sickening small blob that was Pyro was a lot more easy-going, and she praised him for not caring all too much about the firstborn. Little did she know it actually did bother the tiny individual. Burke being in the den did not give her the best feeling, and especially not as she looked at their children. She found it all her fault for not knowing how to deal with what was called "being in heat". It had never been taught to her, how could she have known? It was a miracle she was still able to love her little broken family. Her passion for Burke had never lessened, not even with his now harsh attitude, nor had the hateful comments of the Brotherhood make her think less of her kids. They were a family, and they would get through this.

She was sleeping, the little ones at her belly, Burke doing his own thing. She didn't know it would be a special day today...

Burke was awake this time, while Malice was sleeping. Mostly because sometimes the young would be crawling all over the place, and he was not completely heartless. He was bitter about the things that happened, mostly angry at himself. Still he was still the father of the two. Though one in particular, one that looked like Kendra, was far weaker. The male watched the weak one.

The other brown colored seemed stronger. He wondered if the black one was even going to make it. Maybe that was why he didn't want to be too attached by them. Still he couldn't help it to lay his muzzle close to the two. So small and in need of supervision. A their father he did feel a bit protective even though he was trying not to get attached to the black colored one at least. Burke did have to admit he felt more rested than he ever had.

DAMN what a night!

Pyro did not know whether mom and dad had enjoyed themselves last night, but Pyro had had one hell of a sleep! The tiny thing yawned like he hadn't before as soon as he came back to the world of the living, spiky fangs sprouting out like thorns already, and lips stretching dangerously close to their limit. The boy's face strained so hard that something out of this world happened. His eyes popped open, and a whole new world of light took the pup by surprise.

To be honest, the little guy did not see shit. He was practically blind, being able to recognize only the most confusing of blurs out of the picture. But hell was it awesome! The pup squealed in joy, one of the few sounds he's made in a LONG time, and tumbled down next to mommy trying to express a silent "WHAT THE HELL"

This morning had been an amazing one for not so little Vassago. Little Pyro probably got a pretty good nights sleep because the little chestnut boy slept between the paws of his mother, and when he woke up, something simply glorious happened: his sealed eyelids separated, and bright blue eyes blinked quite a few times in hopes to see better. It didn't clear his blurry vision, of course, but he could see some blurry shapes around him. The dark blob was the one who brought life, food, and the smaller version of her was the one whom he'd been brought into this life with. Soon after, another revelation beheld the little boy; each of his legs could now support him, if only for a short time. Stretching out one limb at a time and, eventually, pulling himself to his paws, Vassago stood like what could be compared to a shaky fawn standing after birth.
He stumbled over to his mothers belly when movement, the grey blob that was usually distant from them, came closer. Burke's big head became a little clearer, and Vassago could clearly make out his nose and muzzle. Instead of rediscovering all he'd done with sight, the little one turned and pawed shakily at his father. One paw settled on the older mans nose, and Vassago set to exploring with his face not half an inch from whatever he looked at with newly opened blue eyes.

The squeals and chips the pups were making had awoken their mother, but at least it was for a good reason. At first, she didn't notice what the fuss was all about, but as she looked closer she saw 2 pairs of blue eyes, slowly discovering the world that was not their usual black. She smiled at little Pyro as he stumbled and tumbled toward her. Ohh... Just look at you! She exclaimed in a soft but excited whisper. She grinned at the small being that had been so brave these past weeks. Heeellooo.... She said, moving around a bit to see if Pyro's eyes would follow. She forgot her sorrows as she saw her own child discover the world.

Next she looked at Vassago, who was a lot bigger, and he was standing! She almost couldn't believe it when she saw the little guy run over to his father. A real daddy's boy, she thought. She giggled. This was great!

Burke watched how Malice woke up and seemed to get absorbed in her pups being able to do something new. They clearly leveled up a bit having such new abilities. The male let out a bit of a grin when Vassago came closer to him. The male hummed in return, a calming sound.

He let out a gush of warm air through his nose when the cute pup put his tiny paw on his nose. Burke's blue eyes stared back at the little one. He was already quite mobile, which made him wonder how much of a trouble maker he was going to be. Burke then licked over his tummy to startle him a bit, he liked teasing his kids after all.

Oh yes, a troublemaker this one would be. He was surprised by the sudden touch on his plush, warm belly, but reacted by clamping his jaws as far around Burkes muzzle as the little boy could so yeah not much. What milk teeth he had were sharp, but luckily for his father there were only a few of them. Paw still firmly planted, in fact holding up the young boy, Vassago nomed on his fathers face whilst sending his blurry puppy eyes elsewhere.
