All Welcome
Crickets.
She could hear them, hear the creak of an evergreen bough. The steady chirping of a nightbird, wishing away the setting sun. The insects, they were faint, they were few, but they were returning. A robin lighted on a branch above the femme's head, glancing at her with sharp, curious movements. She moved, a graceful slide to her feet, and the bird gave a cry and fled of on noisy wings into the forest. Her paws moved over the earth silently, brilliant amber eyes downcast as she slipped into the tiny meadow.

Here, blooms had begun. The grass had grown back here, short, but plentiful, and tiny buds spotted the green. Tiny stars, they were, of colour- wildflowers, and of every shade. Her eyes widened in delight, she stepped into the secretive glen. She could not help but wince when the first step bent the tender shoots, but after withdrewing, noticed that no permanent harm came to them and the simply sprung back up after a moment.

So she stepped slowly into the small field of green, her soft pelt reflecting the lights of the sunset overhead. She was still thin, very much so, but she had gained some weight and was no longer losing it drastically. The sight of a raccoon, bumbling through the glade, caught her attention. She slunk low, watching it for a moment. It grasped young shoots with it's slender paws, delicately chewing the vegitation. But it stopped, and with a lazy walk begun to waltz toward a tree. Drat. If she went after it now, it would simply climb the tree, and she had not enough time to circle around it. Still, she crouched, half hoping that it might stop, or something might scare it back into the open ground.

To her surprise, something did seem to spook it, and it bumbled back into the meadow- right toward Minna. Without a second though, she was upon it, claws sinking into it as it frantically fought back. One of it's claws arched across her face, and she growled lowly as pain lashed through her muzzle. She pierced her fangs through it's neck, piercing the flow of lifeblood and rendering it still. When she finished, she scooped it up by it's nape, ripping of a chunk for herself and swallowing her chunk ravenously. A considerable amount still clung to the raccoon, and after a moment she headed toward @Aaron's den with the thing in her maw. She arrived and stopped a few meters away, letting out a chuff of greeting.
