Pack Activity
Pack Hunt!  This is not mandatory, but anyone looking to get their wolf a Hunter trade would be more than welcomed.  Although the Pack Hunt will ultimately end up in failure due to this roll.

The hunt had been planned for today and Spring was ready to carry that deal out.  All morning she had searched for some prey that was worth the time of a pack hunt, now it was late afternoon and she had found something, a grand bull elk.  She had her doubts about catching it, but it was injured as it had a wound on it's left side.  Still the animal was powerful and would be hard to take down.  Yet... Spring wanted to at least try.  She let a softer howl drift into the air, to anyone who was a full member of Silver Creek (@Laika, @Casmir, @Shreya, @Amber, @Indra, @Laurel) to meet her here if they were hungry and ready to take down a bull elk.  The only reason that she called Indra and Laurel though was in case they wanted to watch the hunt to help them get an idea before it was their turn to join the pack in the hunt.

Then after this Spring waited for the pack, luckily the bull elk had not spooked and ran off by her howl, but the animal seemed a little more on edge than before, prepared to flee, so she and any other wolf of Silver Creek would need to be careful when they tried to catch it.  Spring was about twenty feet away from the bull elk, but she could still see it grazing, glancing up every once in a while.  A plan began to form in the Alpha's mind as she waited for her pack to show up.

Shreya is wounded and a poor hunter anyway, so she'll watch. :)

Edit: She is now a PPC, so please skip her and assume her a NPC!

Although she hesitated at Spring's call, wondering if her time might better be spent elsewhere, she realised she might be helpful in manning the pups if Casmir and Laika were occupied with the hunt. For she didn't entirely trust the girls not to head straight for the kill on a whim.

Her back paw still hurt but was healing fast — Riptide's initial ministrations and her own continued treatment ensured that the bite mark had not become infected. So she limped quite easily to the hunt sight, and stopped a good distance behind Spring, offering her a silent nod and moving her eyes to the magnificent elk that had mercifully returned to their ravaged soil.

Amber was not far from her sister when the call for food, glorious food, went up. Cupping her ears forward, she steered her graceful loping gait towards the bull. She scented it before Spring though, and slowed just before coming into plain view of it. Sliding easily into a crouch, her ocean eyes darted around to Spring. Could she see her? Should she come closer? The shadowy fae decided to move around in a slow circle. Eventually she reached a point where it was again safe to straighten out and prance her way to her sister and Shreya.
Coming up with a dip of her head and the sway of her hips, Amber grinned at the two females.

She waited for a while, but in the end only Amber and Shreya showed up.  Although she found herself betting that Shreya wouldn't hunt... well this was great, she probably should have made it a mandatory pack hunt.  No matter thought.  Even though she and Amber were pretty much destined now to not catch the bull, perhaps though she and her sister could ge some quality practice time in.  Yes... that would be better than nothing.

She waited a few more minutes before adressing Shreya and Amber.  "Hello Shreya."  She first called out, but just let her be, not wanting the elder to have to get to involved especially with the low numbers today.  Then she truend to face her sister.  "Obviously we won't be able to catch the bull today do to lack of numbers."  She began with a sigh.  "Perhaps though we can get some good hunting practice in.  It'll be better than nothing."  Spring then encourage.  After that the Alpha waited for her sisters response.

Spring was silent for a long time, but it seemed nobody was showing. A flash of anger warmed Amber, but outwardly she kept her stoic mask and graceful, leaning stance. How could they not come to the call of their alpha, especially with the tauntings of food? As if answering her thoughts, claiming her attention, the younger Ciel sister deemed them unable to catch the bull. Much as Amber wanted to chase, to sink her fangs into the prey and drag it down until she was able to fill her belly, she knew that Spring was right.
With a shrug, Amber agreed... If only to spend time with her little sister. With a giggle, she bumped gently against Springs brown shoulder.

Amber put in her input, seeming to semi-agree with her in her own way.  "I get your point, but why don't we get on with it anyways.  Sharpen our skills?"  She replied, her question rhetorical.  Then without waiting for a response from Amber, the Alpha continued on to talk about a strategy, because even though they weren't actually hunting it was better to be prepared and aware than racing in blindly.  "Amber, I want you to flank the bull on the left, I'll take right.  We'll just give it a good chase, nothing more.  So no matter how much you may want to do not attack for we are only practicing."

With that Spring slowly began to make her way towards the right side of the bull, expecting her sister to take the left.
