All Welcome
Oddly, the events that had transpired in the Rosings pack had left Lilith largely unaffected. Or maybe that wasn't so surprising, seeing as she had no real attachment to them. She only knew the names of three — four if she counted the usurper who had simply given up his position. And to one so vile. Her lip curled, frustrated at how things had ended. Aaron deserved so much worse in her mind.

So she left, maybe for a few days, maybe forever. She hadn't decided yet.

The girl travelled the mountainside, picking her way through worn paths before coming across a creek laden with the scent of fish and otters. She had wandered throughout the night and so the sun was only just rising as she came across the territory. She was not tired, however, and moved to the river's side with hungry eyes, watching as the trout's scales caught the light, flashing and tempting her.

The mystic had not slept; his vision in the shores had been enough to keep him awake for weeks, but the cat’s heart thrummed as he had padded away from the shore and deep into the landscape that housed the numerous bodies. Their scent was wild in the air, and the Gul’Dan knew that the packs who claimed those territories would be many. The wolves had been never truly been close companions to the lynx of his home, but he had found aid in their company on a few occasions and was inclined to believe that the great spirits had led him to their world in hopes of finding the blessed ones. The voices still whispered to him, begging him to return to the sea, but Bajeera had found distance from the water and comfort in the rolling of the landscape as it faded to trees.

Still, some part of the fel beast desired a close proximity with the water. He followed the trailing creek with a quiet composure; tufted ears swiveled atop his crown as the voices breathed into his mind. Suddenly, and quite unexpectedly, the feline caught scent of another beast: a wolf. Fixing his wild gaze on the pale figure – her form was illuminated so strangely in the light – he could not help but to speak aloud: “ah! lo’gosh!” His voice was a lilting hiss as it passed through his lips.

She watched the fish slip by, tail waving ever so gently behind her. She was hungry but had never been much of a fisher. But, oh, how many of them there were! Otters were frequent in the area too, she noted with a quick test of the air, perhaps she would see if she could catch one of those slippery little...

The girl straightened, breathing in again and frowning slightly at the odd scent. She rose to all fours, ears standing tall as she surveyed the area. The stranger appeared suddenly in her peripherals, a mid-sized creature with eyes that entranced Lilith the moment she saw them. Whatever he had hissed at her she did not register, instead smiling, having never encountered one of these beasts up close. "Hello, cat," she greeted with a playful smirk.
