AW! Maybe someone from LSG just to make things awkward?

The rain had stopped. It had taken hours, and nearer to the end of the storm she had become so restless that even the prospect of drowning in precipitation could dwarf her enthusiasm for travel, but the rain had eventually stopped and Pepper was left to dry out. She baked in the sun as she moved inland, finding solace among a densely growing forest once the sunlight became too much as well; her pelt shone gold and was luminous like fire, until the forest shadows snuffed that fire out, and she became grey and moody as she wandered between the trees.

It was like a hedge maze in here - not that she had any understanding of what a hedge was, or really a maze either - but it was a mess, and she became swiftly lost within the rainforest. It was evident early on that Pepper would not find Hogan here, and there wasn't really any sign of him to begin with, but when she tried to turn around there was no path to follow. No way out, really, except to keep on heading in the same direction - which itself was difficult due to the frequency of the thick darkness, or the wild twists and turns she'd have to make to avoid obstacles.

In the end, as night began to fall, Pepper didn't know where she ended up, but was too exhausted to think about it. She began to search for a place to hunker down for the night, except the eerie sounds of trees creaking, owls hooting, and the occasional screech of a coyote, would keep her up for hours.
