THE PUPS ARE ALMOST 1 MONTH! YAY! That means they can go outside!! @Pearl @Nova @Ivy @Mato @Benjamin // I might tag other pack mates later to meet them! :D

Sebastian was very excited for his day. Their young ones were growing quickly and he had a hard time waiting to take them outside and see their beautiful territory. The grey male looked at Pearl and their active bunch. They were so adorable. Sebastian got to his feet and wagged his tail excitedly. "Who wants to go outside?!!," he had been dreaming of that line. The male climbed out the den, to then poke his head back in.

"Follow daddy!," he woofed excitedly to coach them into follow him. He then planted himself outside the den, so he could watch them come out. His tail couldn't stop wagging really. The grey father was an excitable figure. The littlest things could make him happy, though this was of course not a little thing, but a big thing. It was a nice autumn morning, with the sun shining down on them. What a wonderful day.

Her father seemed so excited. It wasn't surprising, most of their behaviors had made people excited, small minor things to the adults that had changed the lives of the children entirely seemed like magic. Nova let out a little chirp, near nervous as her father urged them to follow and yet went outside their perimeter. That was new! Her little tail wagged behind her, not to be deterred, and she trailed after her father.

The world was so bright! That was the first thing she was aware of, near freezing for a moment as her tender eyes adjusted to the difference between their cave and the world beyond. Once she'd taken a moment she turned towards her siblings, whining for them to hurry up!

Benjamin liked sleeping, even though walking had been fun too. He liked covering his siblings with his bigger frame, but he also let them climb him every now and then. The only thing he didn't like was being disturbed when he was taking a nap - though he never blamed anyone or held it against them. So, when his father's voice reached his delicate ears he let out a cry. His blue eyes blinked open to see a somewhat blurry face - that of his father, and a tiny little ball of fluff that was his sister. What now? Where were they going? The den was home, he liked it here.

He got to his feet, a bit wobbly at first, but soon got the hang of walking again as he followed his sweet sister outside. Holy moly! It was so big here! Beautiful, but very cold. He shivered and shook his pelt - his fur sticking out at some places to keep him warmer.

It was the excited rhythm of his father’s tone that quickly grabbed Mato’s attention from the stick her was chewing and towards his father. Upon resting his eyes on the Alpha, Mato’s tail tipped happily and a smile spread upon his lips. Nova and Benjamin set the path; the former leading the way and the later trailing behind sleepily and Mato scrambled to follow them. Quickly, and somewhat dramatically, the dark puppy clambered onto his large paws and set the pace behind the duo. He wondered just where they were going and as he breached the mouth of the cave, Mato paused momentarily as the sights, smells, and temperature hit him all at once.

He couldn’t believe what he was seeing! Bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, the boy shivered as he glanced around excitedly, taking everything in as it came. He had yet to have the mental capacity to truly grasp how much bigger their world had gotten. Instead, he turned to Sebastian curiously, tipping his head to the side as if to question just what was next.

Ivy paused in the middle of her preening to watch with curious eyes as her father got up and bounced around happily.  Her tongue happened to be in the middle of a very important lick - the fur on her legs wasn't going to stay in place by itself, was it? - but hearing the excited tones in his voice drew her full attnetion.  The smallest of the bunch watched as her siblings followed and, with a distinct frown, she decided that this was an event worth investigating.

The pale girl scrambled to catch up with everyone else, her frown turning into a pout.  Ivy's gaze locked onto her father, though she struggled to make him out at a distance.  Eyesight had been a heck of a thing to gain even though her vision was far from perfect.  Reaching Sebastian was of the utmost importance to her but despite her clear goal, she didn't want to totally ignore her siblings, and so she let out a squeak as she came closer to each one, stopping just as she reached Mato who looked like he was waiting for their father to give instruction.  For something..?

Oh, but it was then that she noticed it.  It, of course, being everything!  The world outside the family's den was so.. so.. bright.  Ivy blinked rapidly and huffed once.  How the heck was she ever going to see with all this brightness?

Sebastian had a proud feeling washing over him as all his little ones were scrambling out the den and blinking. They eyes of course only knew the darkness of the den but out here things were brighter and scents were everywhere. The father woofed for them to come a bit closer so there wouldn't be traffic in front of the den. Nova and Ben were the first, followed by Mato and Ivy. They were such a cute bunch.

The father hoped that they were willing to explore. Autumn was starting so there were leaves that were blowing around by the wind. Perhaps the light wind was something that would surprise them too. Sebastian decided to step a bit closer to be of any comfort of them if they needed it. He sat down and watched them. "This is the outside. All kind of exciting things happen here," he explained. A few leaves were blown over the ground in front of his feet. "Those are leaves, they come from the trees up there," he explained, not sure if they would even get his words but if he was calm and explaining things he was sure they would realize their was nothing too fear.

Pearl was just as excited to introduce the little ones to the other world outside the den, going out after Sebastian and before the pups just to watch their tiny expressions. She sat across from her mate, grinning at her kids with an ever-wagging tail. They seemed to take to Seb's instruction very well, and he knew just what to do with it.

She kept an eye on them while they paid attention to their father, but also took the chance of being outside to shake off and stretch. Being cooped up in the den for the better part of a month wasn't the ideal situation for her, but it was made infinitely better with her growing kids. They certainly kept it interesting, but occasionally she just had to take a break and go for a run. Today was the perfect morning to take them outside, though, with a nice temperature and pretty leaves coating the ground. She couldn't wait to watch them explore.

Nova looked up at her father, glancing back to see her siblings toddling after them and Pearl bringing up the rear. She looked around but didn't see Odette anywhere, but her attention was focused on her sister as she drank it all in. It may just have been that Ivy was one of the last to leave but Nova watched her sister the closest, watching as she drank the world in as Nova had been doing just a moment ago.

She snapped her gaze up to Sebastian as he spoke, trying to understand what it was all about. The world - it was so huge, and this was the first of many moments where she'd be investigating and exploring it. She gave a little trill of a chirp, stepping forward to nuzzle against Sebastian's leg before turning to look back at her family with her little tail moving a mile a minute.

His big blue eyes seemed to take everything in before he turned to his siblings that had followed the bunch outside. Even they were cute, Benjamin found, as he clearly towered a bit over them. He smiled sheepishly before turning to his father and mother. He could not understand what they were saying, but nodded as if he did anyway as he plopped his butt down on the cold ground. He jumped up startled, looking at his butt, frowning. What was that wagging thing? He walked in circles, but his tail just did not want to come closer, and in the end he was too dizzy to keep on standing.

He fell down, confused and cold, but the smile did not disappear.

This was it-- the world. His eyes shone brightly at the sight of it all, despite how overwhelming it all seemed. Like Nova, Mato turned to Sebastian and listened to what his father said. Though he didn’t understand most of it, Mato still couldn’t help the excitement that surged through him. Turning back towards the clearing before the den with a wide grin.

Finally, as his excitement peaked, Mato couldn’t take it anymore. He had to explore. He was driven forward by the bubbling feeling within his belly as he bounded forward a few steps. His tail waved madly as his did this. Pausing then, Mato turned back towards his family with his face bright and exclaimed an enchanted, “Wooo!”

The deep voice of her father caught her attention for a few moments.  Ivy didn't understand the words he was speaking, but she did enjoy the sound of his voice.  It wasn't quite enough to hold notice, however, not with all this brightness!  A frown remained plastered on her pale maw and the rest of her face was scrunched up from the aggressive squinting she'd been engaged in.

Her ears twitched when one of her siblings made an excited exclaimation.  Well, at least Mato was enjoying himself.  Ivy turned to look at her mother, the pathetic pout still on her face.  If she were more self-aware she'd feel bad about her bratty behavior.  But as it was, the girl just didn't appreciate all this sunshine right now.

Sebastian could see that they didn't understand much from his words but at least Nova seemed to try and listen. She was such a cute thing and then she even stayed by his legs. He looked proudly at Pearl. His tail was wagging. In the meanwhile Benjamin was entertaining himself by chasing his tail and losing his balance. How curious that he was focussed on his tail instead of on the outside world. At least that made him comfortable outside in Sebastian's eyes?

Mato started to explore his first steps. It was adorable. The young one took a few steps and then checked on his family, like he was making sure they were still there. A smile quirked upon his lips. He looked so excited. What a fun day! However it did look like Ivy wasn't having too much fun. She was just frowning toward everything it seemed. Sebastian wanted to hold her close and assure her that this wasn't as bad, but seeing that she was more turned towards her mother Sebastian let Pearl deal with it.

The pups seemed to respond well to the outside world, except for Ben, who was preoccupied with his fluff of a tail, and a very pouty Ivy. She grinned at Mato, who loved the sights, and met the unappricated look her daughter was giving her. Ivy's eyes weren't accustomed to the direct sunlight quite yet, given the squinting about. "Well, what is it, Iv? Is it the sunshine? Too much?" she asked the tiny girl, and moved in front of the sun to provide a shadow for her little one.

She turned to Sebastian, who Nova was rightly excited by, grinned and then shrugged towards their youngest daughter. It wasn't her intent to raise a drama queen, but if she couldn't beat it, so be it.

She couldn't wait anymore. Mato was exploring, and while Nova wouldn't be running off at all she also wasn't going to stay glued to her father's hip. She'd explore a few paces, little nose twitching as new scents struck her. She licked her lips from time to time, occasionally finding something on them from sniffing around in the dirt; it didn't deter her.

She found herself ambling closer to Ben and eventually poked her brother, blunt muzzle at his rump even as he worked at his tail. Didn't he see everything else? Maybe he just needed some help!

His older sister was quick to become interested in his tail too and he made some sounds that sounded a lot like laughter. Of course he would share his butt with his sister! He wiggled it her way after getting up - more stable than any time before, despite being a little dizzy. He squealed, blue eyes only pointed at Nova, forgetting he was outside as a whole as he looked at her like this.

Mato was not discouraged when nobody joined him at the forefront of the exploration and, instead, he took this as motivation. Turning back to the unknown, Mato faced it with a grin. He wasn’t quite sure just what to do first. His milky eyes scanned the clearing eagerly and soon enough his short attention span fell to a single leave that had dropped to the ground.

Jumping at the opportunity, Mato scrambled to it with an excited yip. Once he was before it, quite unsure if it was in the mood to play or not, Mato dropped to a bow and wriggled his rear in an attempt to get the inanimate object to play with him.

The attention she recieved from her mother wasn't quite enough to lift Ivy's spirits very high.  Sure, she appreciated that Pearl was now a mom-shaped block to the sun, but the initial shock of brightness had left its mark.  The tiny girl let out a high-pitched whine, the frown on her face now much more pronounced.  Oh, how she longed to retreat back into the safe haven of their den!

Joyful movements of her siblings aside, Ivy felt fairly glum about the whole affair.

Going to wrap it up :3

Sebastian smiled at Pearl. He was such a proud dad to see his pups outside. He was proud of each one of them really. Even though not all seemed to enjoy it he was glad they experienced it. This new scents and the brightness of the outside would all get adjusted too. He was just pleased that they had a sense there was more to the world than just the den. It was highly amusing to see their personalities come to light.

Ben and Nova were displaying their playful natures while Mato was exploring. Ivy was just the compete opposite of it all and was being a complete grump. Sebastian had to laugh at that. Perhaps she had the grumpiness of her grandfather. Who knows. Sebastian did think it was pretty funny. He nudged Pearl, tail wagging. So happy with their four kiddos.
